HAVIOUS GREEN HUMANITARIAN FOUNDATION INC. conforms to a system of values as a core consideration in its actions and decisions. These relate to our belief in the central role of Christ in all that we do, the values of the human being, and the special place of the society in which we live. These values we uphold in our approach to our mission as an evangelical, non –denominational, not political, Christian organization demonstrating God’s love.
 

To this end:

• We, as a Christian organization, acknowledge our dependence on Jesus as our source and inspiration. We therefore strive to seek God’s direction and pleasure in all we do through the word of God and prayer.

• We are motivated by Christ obedience to God’s will and we will therefore strive to perform our services as unto the Lord and for his name’ sake. We will for that reason endeavor to provide quality services in all that we do.

• • We make every effort that in all our works we display Godly accountability, integrity and honest. This is achieved through maintaining an effective, committed, faithful, hardworking, and reliable staff.

• In our service to the poor, we desire to provide assistance to them in such a way that they maintain their human dignity. Our goal is to empower others to
  improve their current condition and/or situations.

• We wish to place a special emphasis on assisting women, children and young people within the communities where we work, as these groups often represent the most vulnerable and marginalized in society.

 

HGHFI was founded on September 16, 1997 as a Faith-based Ministry and named in honor of Pastor Havious Green of Michigan, USA  for his humanitarian assistance to the suffering Liberians during our civil crisis.

 

The Havious Green Humanitarian Foundation Inc., is a locally registered non-profit, non-governmental Christian Development Organization based in the City of Monrovia. HGHFI believes that approaches to development must be holistic and transformational addressing both the Spiritual and Materials of the people. The mission of the organization is to empower communities to undertake their own development initiatives to enable the people reach their full potential as human beings created in the image of God.
