Part One, New Year's Message 2004

All the miracles that God performed in Egypt to bring Israel out of bondage only set the stage. They really effected no deliverance. It was totally and completely the cross of Christ, registered in the symbolism of the slain Lamb, which brought Egypt to her knees, and victory to Israel. Bible deliverance is not just for sinners who have not come to Christ, but as God told Moses to tell Pharaoh - "let MY people Go." We as Christians need to reconsecrate our faith as we enter into another year and fully anchor it in man's only hope for true deliverance - the finished work of redemption by Christ on the Cross.

TEXT: Exodus 3:8  - And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.
 

Exodus 5:1
And afterward Moses and Aaron went in, and told Pharaoh, Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, Let my people go, that they may hold a feast unto me in the wilderness.
 

        The story of Israel's deliverance out of Egypt bondage is one of the greatest miracles recorded in the Old Covenant, and in reality the Bible itself. A nation of slaves under the jack booted heel of Pharaoh's Egyptian slave masters, we find ourselves in the pages of this great story of Israel's exodus out of the greatest and most powerful nation at that time. As we enter a new year, it goes without saying that there is a great need for a total deliverance among both the world and God's people. Found in this story we find the answer for all of mankind's ills and bondages - not just the unbeliever but those of us locked in this eternal struggle of faith as believers. This battle for the souls of men goes beyond any self-help message the modern church world shovels the masses. It goes beyond the message of "come to Jesus and leave driving a Mercedes" that deceives millions and sends countless scores into eternity wanting without God.

        Deliverance is an eternal matter, not a temporal one. That is why God has set forth eternal principles by which we can walk in total deliverance and freedom from bondage. Let me state something really quick here before I go on. The Bible does NOT teach sinless perfection. There is no such state among humanity. There has only been one who is perfect - the SON OF GOD - and there will be no other. The Bible DOES teach that as believers sin will no longer "reign" in our mortal bodies and it shall not have "dominion" over us.

Romans 6:1-5
What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? [2] God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? [3] Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? [4] Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. [5] For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:

Romans 6:14
For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
 

        The words of our text, "And I am come down to deliver them out of the hands of the Egyptians," reveals a great fundamental principle regarding the ways of God. It is on the ground of what He is that He ever acts, and NOT on the ground of what the people are as it regards Righteousness.

        Actually, the Children of Israel in Egypt were not paragons of virtue and Righteousness. In fact, they were the very opposite. For them even to exhibit a little faith, they had to be brought to a place of terrible bondage. So the delivering aspect had to do with God's promises to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, which constitutes WHO He is, and WHAT He is. If the Lord waited until any of us were WORTHY of deliverance, friend, He'd NEVER act and mankind would stay in bondage forever! No human being has ever or will ever reach that place. Man is a wicked sinful being and deserves hell. But God, who is RICH in mercy saved us from hell itself! Oh, Glory to God!

        The Lord only requires FAITH, and for faith to be exhibited, in some way the Word of God must be sent to the people, even as it was to Israel through Moses. Even after the Word came to them, it took affliction to drive them to the place of exhibiting their Faith. We are the exact same way today. Most never cry out to God for deliverance until affliction hits. Most of us wait till we're in the mud pits of Egypt to start seeking God. While there is nothing wrong with that, deliverance goes beyond our "need," but goes the very CORE of our beings. It speaks to us of who GOD IS and who we are. God is eternal and cannot come down to man's level no more than man can ever hope to come up to God's level as some misguided and delusional preachers preach today. No, deliverance is based solely on God's will to free His people and neighbor that means YOU! He WANTS us free. He heard the cries of Israel and it moved Him to move through a man and a rod!

        Just as there was no merit in Israel that triggered their deliverance, there is no merit in us that triggers our deliverance! But yet despite most knowing this, it is so very hard for most of us to cease looking at ourselves and to ourselves and look totally to God for our deliverance.

        As we will see chapter after chapter, text after text, the factor and principle which ultimately delivered Israel were the shed blood of the Lamb! All the miracles God performed prior to the Passover night only set the stage. They really effected NO deliverance. It was totally and completely the Cross of Christ, registered in the symbolism of the slain Lamb, which brought Egypt to her knees and victory to Israel. There was absolutely no earthly way for Israel to be delivered out of her bondage and friend there is no earthly remedy for OUR deliverance as well.

        The church sadly has rejected this view by and large. But let every MAN be a liar and God be true. Let this ministry stand along on an island and sound like someone as old as Father Time - THERE IS NO SAVING GRACE, NO DELIVERING GRACE, NO HEALING GRACE OUTSIDE OF THE CROSS OF CHRIST AND THE SHED BLOOD OF THE LORD JESUS! Psychology can't deliver you. Twelve-step programs can't deliver you. Self-esteem building seminars can't deliver you. Reading your bible 20 hours a day can't deliver you. Having so many hands laid on you there are hand prints on your forehead cannot deliver you. Giving all your money to the poor, while grand and great and admirable, cannot deliver you from the evil powers of darkness afflicting your soul mister.

        The church has been so moved away from the Cross of Christ in these last days that it no longer understands its place and position of life and victory. It is so bogged down in works and legalism, Galatianism, that is has totally lost sight of victory. In brief, legalism pertains to Salvation by works, which in reality does not exist!

        Galatianism, which afflicts most of the modern church, pertains to believers who come to Christ by trusting in what He has done for us at the Cross, and then trying to live for God by their own strength and ability, in other words, abandoning the Cross. In that capacity, it is SALVATION BY FAITH and Sanctification by works which many try to do yet it will never succeed.

        Another false doctrine, known as antinomianism, claims that sin no longer matters inasmuch as we are now functioning under Grace. In other words, "where sin abounds, grace did much more abound." That is a truth, but many take it to such an extreme they believe they don't have to worry anymore about how much they might sin. Of course, that road is a road to disaster or even worse. But in one of these three - legalism, galatianism or antinomianism - the modern church world rests and it's sad.

        All of it is a failure to understand the Cross, and so that's the reason we preach it and write on the cross so often.

Enemies In The Land

        There were enemies the Lord mentioned specifically in this passage concerning Israel and her destination of the Promised Land when the Lord brought her out of Egypt. The Canaanites, Hittites, were types of the enemies of the soul which seek to drag down the Child of God after having come into the land of Promise. Despite the fact that modern teaching on Faith claims that if we have the proper confession, there will no difficulties or problems, we find to many times that this struggle of faith is not one that is easily won or solved!

        Some of you reading this journal know exactly what I am talking about. You are in the fight of your spiritual life. Many of you write us each week and tell us how encouraging these journals are to you. If you are reading these journals, you are hearing about the cross of Christ. You are reading that man's only hope for deliverance and salvation comes from Calvary. You read on Spirit Journals that man cannot deliver himself - no matter he be a believer or a sinner - both must come the same path. Denying we are in a struggle does not provide us security and peace. After Israel left Egypt the children of God fought many many battles which are recorded in the book of Joshua. The Promised Land was not a land where everything was peace and playful like the modern world of religion portrays to many today.

        Let me say it this way. It's a whole lot easier to receive the Promise, that it is to have the possession. But it definitely can be had. You and I can live the more abundant life Jesus taught in John 10:10.

John 10:10
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
 

        If we will follow that which the Lord has given to us in His word as the way and path to victory, we will see the Lord's peace and victory in our hearts and lives. No the devil is not going away anytime soon, but our reaction to how the enemy works against us will change and we will truly RULE over our enemies!

Psalm 110:1-3
A Psalm of David.
The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool. [2] The Lord shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies. [3] Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.

        Many saints forget that once they are in the land the fight is just beginning. Thus, when the enemy comes against them they seek to do all over again in their flesh what Christ has already done. Jesus Christ has totally and completely defeated every single work of darkness - ON THE CROSS! To use the terminology and typology in Exodus He has defeated the Canaanites, the Hivites, the Jebusites, etc. which means we don't have to defeat them again. Friend, let me just lay this gauntlet down for you right here. If you are fighting sin in your life- you have already lost! You hear me? I want to state that again so it will not be missed. IF YOU ARE FIGHTING SIN YOU HAVE ALREADY LOST THIS BATTLE.

        The Bible never tells the child of God to fight against sin. Our fight is the GOOD FIGHT OF FAITH!

1 Tim. 6:12
Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

        Our greatest battle is where we place our faith in this fight. Most keep fighting a fight that's already been fought and won, to effect a victory that has already been accomplished. If we attempt to do that, we will be defeated EVERY SINGLE TIME. There has never been one single winner in this type of conflict. Neighbor, the Lord Jesus is not worried about your demons. He already beat them on the cross. He's SEATED at the right hand of God interceding for us that "our faith fail not." He is not pacing back and forth over heaven's floors worrying about whether the church is going to make it or not. He's seated at the right hand of God having already secured victory for His true church and body of believers on earth.

Hebrews 10:12
But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God

        HIS CHURCH WILL MAKE IT!!!!!!!!!! Oh, Glory to God I feel like shouting on that one. Let me change that - HIS CHURCH has ALREADY WON! Man's church on the other hand which is full of doctrinal division, the spirit of worldly entertainment, the spirit of greed and avarice, the spirit of jealousy and envy, pride, ego and arrogance - is doomed for destruction. GET OUT OF Man's CHURCH neighbor in these last days. Anchor your soul in the TRUE CHURCH of Jesus Christ which is built upon the confession that HE IS THE CHRIST the SON OF THE LIVING GOD!

        That's why Paul warns us in Hebrews of entering into REST. Some of you reading this need to do just that. You are working, working working trying to find the place of peace and contentment that only Christ can give.

Hebrews 4:1-4
Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. [2] For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. [3] For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. [4] For he spoke in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.

Matthew 11:28-30
Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. [29] Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. [30] For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
 

        "Come unto ME, ALL ye that are labor and are heaven laden. TAKE my yoke upon you, LEARN of me, for I am meek and lowly and I will give you REST unto your souls," says the Lord. Are you hearing me friend? THIS IS WHAT BIBLE deliverance is about. It's not about who blows on you, it's where you've anchored your faith. It's not about how many scriptures you memorize or can quote. The devil quotes scripture as good if not better than most Christians and believe me he's not free! AND NEITHER ARE YOU IF YOU ARE PUTTING YOUR FAITH IN QUOTING SCRIPTURES FOR YOUR DELIVERANCE!

        There are some of you reading this journal right now that are battling lust, pornography addiction, cigarette addiction, alcohol addiction, fornication issues, uncontrollable and sinful anger, jealousy, wrath, fear, avarice, greed, unbelief. You're not a hypocrite. You love God. You are on this treadmill of defeat and no matter how hard you try to get free the enemy fights harder and seems to win more and more and more. You are at a point of great discouragement and don't know where to turn. Some have turned to religious works thinking that somehow if they can just "DO" enough for God that these evil spirits will leave them alone. They find out unfortunately that no matter how much we DO, the devil don't "BUKE" when we "rebuke" him!

        Others are you reading this are struggling and you think that if you can go to a certain conference and have a specific preacher lay hands on you you'll be delivered. I believe in laying on of hands but friend that is not your answer. Believe me I've tried that in my own life in the past and as great and honorable as these men may be - they cannot set you free from the bondage that is gripping your heart and soul. Some turn to "experiences," such as being slain in the Spirit and other things. I'm not knocking experiences. I'm as Pentecostal as they come and I believe in speaking in tongues. But if speaking in tongues can set you free then Jesus died in vain. If men laying hands on you  sets you free, Jesus died in vain.

        Some have given up this fight and are thinking about quitting the race. The struggle is so intense the enemy has convinced you that you ARE a hypocrite and it'd be better if you just stopped pretending to be saved. I can tell you from experience that is the enemy's greatest weapon in his arsenal - condemnation and accusation. I remember in 1996-1998 I left the church for close to three years in that exact state. I had struggled and struggled and struggled in my walk with God prior to that and just never found any victory whatsoever. I had so many character issues and integrity problems that I just felt like that nothing I did would ever merit God's favor or the church so why try? I remember one Sunday in particular in the summer of 1996 when I visited my aunt's church in Atlanta. She was telling another dear lady who ministered in prisons about how I too used to preach in prisons in years past and she wanted her to invite me to come. I'll never forget that afternoon feeling the nausea come up in the pit of my stomach at the thought of preaching to another soul ever again. I remember going outside and literally throwing up and leaning against the wall of that church and saying "LORD, never again." "Never again will I preach to others things I cannot live myself."

        The enemy then added his two cents and said "you're right, you ARE a hypocrite. How dare you even think of even being here at this church. You're not worthy to even be part of this fellowship - get out of here and never come back." I did just that for the next 3 years running like Jonah himself from the call of God and anything that resembled CHURCH.

        Even when I came back to the Lord in early 1999 it has took me another 4 years to finally grab hold of something that has so changed my life that I cannot help but write about it. It's not a NEW FORMULA, it's not a NEW CHURCH DOCTRINE, it's not a NEW FAD, it's the same anchor that had I understood 8 years ago I'd never left the church and would have found the peace I have so desperately sought for without success for 5 years.

        Yet in spite of the victorious feeling in my heart today, the fight of faith is still a struggle at times. We are all in an eternal battle friend. This walk of Christianity and faith is not simple. The enemy is going to fight you tooth and toenail. But his fight is in the arena of faith. We think his fight is trying to get us to take a drink, look at a dirty magazine, say a cuss word, lose our temper and the like. NO NO NO NO. His fight is to get our faith anchored in something other than the cross and deceive us into thinking we can get ourselves out of Egypt! WE CAN'T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DO YOU HEAR WHAT I AM SAYING TO YOU!???????????????

      To try to fight a battle which has already been won by Christ is an insult to Christ! To be sure, a place and position in which the Holy Spirit will not function! In modern Christianity today, most Christian engage in this conflict with Satan because we just don't understand the Cross and God's prescribed order of victory. Under the New Covenant, ALL we must do is exhibit and anchor our faith in CHRIST and what He did for us at the Cross. It's not faith in the Cross AND a psychology session. It's not faith in the CROSS AND a 12-step program. It's not faith in the cross and a trip to the barber shop to make sure our hair is short enough for church regulations. Morons. Imbeciles. Why do some churches come up with such FOOLISHNESS trying to get their people to live for God??? I'll tell you why. Because we have apostatized and drifted from the foundational teaching of the cross of Christ. Paul warned us that the enemy would be subtle and draw us away from the simplicity that is in CHRIST:

2 Cor. 11:1-5
Would to God ye could bear with me a little in my folly: and indeed bear with me. [2] For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. [3] But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtlety, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. [4] For if he that cometh preaches another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him. [5] For I suppose I was not a whit behind the very chiefest apostles.

        When we place our faith in the Cross and do not allow it to be moved anywhere else - no matter the storm or the attack - the HOLY SPIRIT then guarantees us ALL that CHRIST has done for us - which is summed up in one word - DELIVERANCE!!

Romans 8:1-2
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. [2] For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

Romans 8:11
But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

Col. 2:14-15
Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; [15] And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
 

        The great price Christ paid for us on the Cross was not for HIS deliverance, it was for OURS. He needed no deliverance. We belittle HIS SACRIFICE when we place our faith in humanistic means to bring about what He accomplished for us at Calvary. And while I'm here let me say this. The real SAD part of all this is that this sounds NEW to some of you reading this. It sounds so foreign to some because preachers behind pulpits have stopped preaching a gospel that elevates the cross of Christ anymore. Most church-goers today only hear about how God intends for them to make more money, be more happy, live in a bigger house, give more $ to the preacher, drive better cars and wear nicer clothes. NONE OF THAT IS IMPORTANT! Those are temporal issues that make GOD SICK when He sees His church spending MILLIONS of dollars promoting such foolish things when we should be spending those MILLIONS on evangelism and winning the lost as the hour of time comes quickly and dangerously close to an end. There's a storm coming neighbor. It's getting late and it's harvest time. Men's souls are at stake. The church needs to get a new look at ETERNAL issues again, and stop majoring in TEMPORAL ones.

A Preacher Cannot Deliver You

        I am Pentecostal. I received the baptism in the Holy Spirit for the first time in 1987. I have seen over the years that many in the Pentecostal world think somehow that preachers can deliver people. As stated earlier, I believe the laying on of hands is Scriptural and the church needs to do it when called upon to do so. There is a power in agreeing prayer that binds the faith of those involved and opens the gates of heaven without a doubt. But when laying on of hands becomes a tool we try to use to deliver people it becomes unscriptural! The Bible tells us to lay hands on those who are sick! That is the scriptural means to pray for those with infirmities. But when it comes to people with sin bondages in their lives believe me friend it will not help you.

        Think about it. If any preacher could bring about your deliverance for an individual through his own means and methods, then Jesus didn't need to come down here and die on the Cross. The preacher who does such, as well as thousands of others like him, in most cases, not all, is simply trying to draw attention to himself instead of Christ. I've seen it happen too many times to not state it like I'm stating it. We bring people up, lay hands on them, expect them to "fall out in the Spirit," then we proclaim to the fallen soul on the floor they are "free" from their problems. Normally, it's at this point when we then grab the offering plate and take an offering up for our ministry claiming God has anointed us to do this great thing for the Body. Most gullible souls sitting the crowd fall right in line with the show and open up their pocketbooks financing the FLESH instead of giving unto the Lord and souls. That's the state of the modern 21rst Century Pentecostal world sad to say.

        But what the preacher doing such foolishness DON'T tell the people watching is that when the believer gets up from the floor and walks outside then 15 minutes later, or two or three weeks later, whatever the problem the poor soul had before he/she came down to the preacher has returned. Many then realize "oh no, I still have this problem, I thought the preacher said I was free." That is where many Christians start questioning God and even backslide in some extreme cases. It was not God who failed the person in deliverance but that cabbage-for-brains minister who wanted to do nothing more than fleece the people with false claims and a false formula for victory. When you have your faith in ANYTHING or ANYONE other than CHRIST friend this is what you're asking for!

        I'm Pentecostal so I have the right to say this to "my own." Friends, we have a problem. We self-righteously and pompously judge the Baptists and the Methodists for not believing in the gifts of the Spirit but let's be frank. Wherein they may have great room for improvement in that area, are we in ANY shape to raise a finger of judgment against them in light of the gross ABUSE we have made of the precious power and giftings the Lord has given US????? I say NOT! I believe until we REPENT of our trek away from the cross and the truth that can set men free we need to keep quiet and look at our own doors before trying to clean up the Baptists'.

The Truth Will Set You Free

        Deliverance is about more than just getting a "touch," it's about receiving the TRUTH.

John 8:32
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

        Jesus never said that "you shall know and have manifestations, and they'd set us free." Jesus said "we'd know the TRUTH," and then we'd be free. Truth is not an abstract piece of paper with your church's doctrines of faith on it either. It's a PERSON! It's wrapped up in the GLORY and GRACE of the Lord Jesus Christ who hung between heaven and earth and set the captives free from the powers and shackles of sin!
 

        When Jesus opened the book of Isaiah in the temple and pointed to the passage that clarified His mission on earth He said:

Luke 4:16-18
And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read. [17] And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written, [18] The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

        Notice what He says in Luke 18 - "....to preach deliverance," not, "deliver captives." To "preach deliverance," means to explain what deliverance is, which refers to being delivered from the domain of darkness to the domain of light, and how it is obtained. The latter comes exclusively by our Faith in Christ and what Christ has done for us at the Cross. The Cross is where the Believer's victory is, and it is where the Believer's victory REMAINS!!!!!!

        There is only ONE SACRIFICE FOR SIN, not ten, not five, not two, only ONE.

Hebrews 10:12
But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;

        The Sacrifice is the Cross. When preachers speak of "going beyond the cross," and "moving onto greater things," they are blaspheming. There is nothing beyond the Cross neighbor that can set you and I free today. There needs to be nothing beyond the Cross, in that the Cross has answered ALL the questions and provided all the solutions for man's deliverance. That's the reason Paul called it the "sacrifice of the eternal covenant."

Hebrews 13:20
Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,
 

        I've not touched this subject in this first part of this journal. I want to pray with you now. I will take this up further in part two and show you how the Lord brought Israel out of Egypt so long ago and how He wants to bring us out of bondage today. I pray today as we enter this New Year you're walking in victory. I pray if you have been struggling you will cease from works and REST in the Lord's finished work today. His love beckons you to come to Him and allow HIS YOKE to be put upon you. His love today cries from the cross that we have been FORGIVEN for our sins and He is not angry with the world - He loves the world and desires passionately it be saved today. Preachers, REPENT if you have stopped preaching the cross and take up the gospel cause once again. Remove yourself from the foolish error of false prosperity doctrines and this sickening arrogance so many posses behind pulpits today. The blood of those you minister to will rest upon your hands at the judgment.

        Pray with me today..

Heavenly Father, we come to You today in the name of Your beloved Son Jesus Christ, the TRUTH and the WAY and the LIFE. Deliver us from our bondages. We place our faith a fresh today in Your finished work. We have strayed from the cross so much Lord we need Your help to light the way back to the paths of righteousness and truth. We so want to walk in victory because Lord we know by walking in victory we establish YOUR VICTORY here on earth over the enemy in our hearts and lives. By doing that we are establishing YOUR KINGDOM on earth and making ourselves ready for YOUR soon return at the rapture of the saints. Keep us holy and pure through Your blood. Our faith rests in nothing else Lord to deliver us from this wretched state we are all in today. Heal our backslidings. Heal our hurts and wounds as we enter 2004. Keep us in the bond and unity of peace and love in the Body of Christ. Open our eyes and grant discernment from all false doctrine in these last days.
