The last great conflict to grip the world, which will bring about the deaths of possibly several billion people, will be that of the Antichrist.  The Antichrist will be heralded as one who has solved the “Jewish problem,” yet in his evil mind, the solution to that “problem,” will be the same solution as Adolph Hitler desired, namely the annihilation of every Jew on the Planet. The Antichrist’s efforts will reach their highest point at the Battle of Armageddon, and he will come close to completing his goal, only being stopped by the brightness of the Lord’s coming which will take place at that very time! The way the world is being prepared for the advent of the Antichrist involves the rise of Islam. A great part of the Muslim world is situated in the Middle East and controls some 60 percent of the world’s oil reserves. Despite the fact that hundreds of billions of dollars go into their coffers every year, the Muslim nations of the Middle East are grossly poor. At the time of this writing, there are about 300 million Muslims in Middle East countries, with about 1.2 billion Muslims existing worldwide. Despite the billions of oil dollars flowing into their economies, those same Muslim countries we speak of steadily grow poorer. Only a tiny few profit from the oil billions, and these few are obscenely rich.

 

The powers that be in the Muslim world desire that the masses of Muslims remain poor – dirt poor, even agonizingly poor. They then claim, and they constantly claim, that it is the United States that is the cause of this poverty, using these claims as recruiting tools for human bombers who are willing to give up their pitiful lives in order to kill the “infidels.” It does not take a genius or Rhodes Scholar to understand the two enemies of the Muslim world are the United States AND Israel, whom they term the “Great Satan,” and “Little Satan,” respectively.

 

The Muslims hate the Jews for many and varied reasons, but perhaps the greatest reason is their claim that Ishmael is the true son of Abraham, not Isaac. As a result, they want every Jew dead, and they want to possess every square inch of the tiny land of Israel. Let the reader consider this startling fact. The land area of Israel comprises about one-tenth (1/10th) of one percent of the entirety of the land of the Middle East. All the rest of the Middle East (99.9%) is controlled by Arabs and Muslims, but yet they still want that tiny spit of land called, “ISRAEL.” Why?

 

The truth is they really don’t know themselves, but the Bible does know! It’s called an “ancient hatred,” rooted in the hearts of the seed of Ishmael toward the seed of Isaac. Israel, according to the Bible, claims to be the chosen people of God, while the Muslims, who refer to their god as “Allah,” claim the same thing through Ishmael.

 

Ezekiel 35:3-5
And say unto it, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, O mount Seir, I am against thee, and I will stretch out mine hand against thee, and I will make thee most desolate. [4] I will lay thy cities waste, and thou shalt be desolate, and thou shalt know that I am the Lord. [5] Because thou hast had a perpetual hatred, and hast shed the blood of the children of Israel by the force of the sword in the time of their calamity, in the time that their iniquity had an end:

Incidentally the name “Allah,” comes from one of the ancient Babylonian idols, and was selected somewhat at random by Mohammed. The goal of the Muslims is NOT land! This is the greatest lie and deception the enemy has shrouded the minds of the modern news media and even many in the church with in these last days. The Muslims want to annihilate every Jew and confiscate the tiny land of Israel for their own.  We must understand that Muslims as a people are not the enemy but the RELIGION of Islam that has instilled this hatred in their hearts IS! It’s Islam that creates all the bad attitudes and problems as billions of Muslims seeks to please Allah by fighting against those Islam calls the “infidels,” and “pigs” i.e. the Jews and the Christians. Because of Islam, they lose their lives fighting for Allah in hopes that this will get them to paradise. Because of Islam, there is no forgiveness in the heart of Muslims – either to others or to themselves. The word “love,” is not found on one page of the Muslim’s “holy book,” the Koran.

 

It is a blatantly false idea that the current conflict between Israel and the Palestinians, and even the current Middle East war between Israel and the terrorist group Hezbollah, is caused by Israel refusing to give the Palestinians their own particular homeland within the borders of the State of Israel. The true cause of the conflict is that the Palestinians want, as stated, every Jew dead and the entirety of the Land of Israel in their possession. This is a war friend, make no mistake about! Furthermore, it’s not a war fought with just bullets and tanks, but a spiritual war between the forces of the spirit realm controlling Islam and the forces of heaven which under gird those who believe in Christ! America’s politicians do not grasp this is a RELIGIOUS and SPIRITUAL conflict, not a political one.

 

I’m afraid many present day citizens in our own nation do not understand this simple fact either. The attitude of the nation right now contains a growing sentiment that America must pull out of the Middle East immediately and not get involved. This writer wished it were that easy. Since 2003, America’s presence in Iraq has brought us full force into this conflict and just us pulling out of Iraq will not take us out of greater conflict that rages! On a side note, the reader needs to understand that just as Jerusalem is the gate of heaven and the place where God placed his name, ancient Babel was the gate of wickedness and the place where deceit and spiritual corruption was birthed!

 

Zech. 5:5-11 - Then the angel that talked with me went forth, and said unto me, Lift up now thine eyes, and see what is this that goeth forth. [6] And I said, What is it? And he said, This is an ephah that goeth forth. He said moreover, This is their resemblance through all the earth. [7] And, behold, there was lifted up a talent of lead: and this is a woman that sitteth in the midst of the ephah. [8] And he said, This is wickedness. And he cast it into the midst of the ephah; and he cast the weight of lead upon the mouth thereof. [9] Then lifted I up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came out two women, and the wind was in their wings; for they had wings like the wings of a stork: and they lifted up the ephah between the earth and the heaven. [10] Then said I to the angel that talked with me, Whither do these bear the ephah? [11] And he said unto me, To build it an house in the land of Shinar: and it shall be established, and set there upon her own base.

 

The battles coming in the future, especially those against Islamic terrorists, will eventually change the nations on the earth. Iraq, whose prosperity is based on oil, will be one of those nations. Oil will play a HUGE role in the kingdom of the Beast, or Antichrist, which we believe in an ever increasing fashion, will be an Islamic kingdom. This war between the spirit of Islam that seeks to destroy Israel and the United States is just going to increase in scope and intensity. The United States is the next great “culprit,” according to Muslim teaching. They hate the United States because of the Lord Jesus Christ! They may mouth the same platitudes about “respecting,” Christ as a great Prophet, but they actually hate Him! They see Him as a rival of Muhammad, which alone fuels the hatred!

 

The reader MUST understand this next statement: If the Muslims had their way, the Land of Israel AND the United States would literally cease to exist. <IRAN’ PRESIDENT’S COMMENTS>

 

Muslims would, if they could, murder every Jew and every American who would not instantly convert to Islam. They do not lack the will, only the way, which we need to understand in our “thinking” about the world of Islam! This is what people like Rick Warren and Bill Hybels DON’T understand as both men have had Muslim clerics in their respective pulpits extolling Islam’s great “vision of peace,” for the world ad nausea! Even our own President, whom I respect and love dearly, has referred to the Koran as a book of love and peace, yet nothing could be further from the truth. He has also said that the Islamic terrorism seen manifested in the Middle East does not represent the “true face of Islam,” and the terrorists have “hijacked,” the religion! AGAIN, NOTHING COULD BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH! During President Bush’s administration, the White House has hosted four “Ramadan,” celebrations since 2002, the Muslim’s holiest day of the year; these celebrations were the first to be "celebrated" at the White House by ANY American President. While this may be 'politically' correct to make Muslims think America is their friend, this ranks as blasphemy in the sight of God who founded America on a basis of BIBLICAL truth, NOT the truth from the Koran.

 

While I believe in President Bush’s war on terror, I strongly proclaim that we are attempting to fight this war against terrorism WITHOUT admitting the true cause of terrorism, WHICH IS THE RELIGION OF ISLAM!!!!!!! It is not that Islam is “part” or the cause of the problem; it is the ENTIRETY of the CAUSE and PROBLEM. And if American citizens and yes, American CHRISTIANS don’t wise up and wake up to the realities facing them this war that we see being played out on our televisions daily right now in the late Summer of 2006 is coming back to our shores in a measure 100 times greater than what we witnessed on 9-11-2001! It is a most ridiculous idea, to say the least, that Islam is a “great religion that has only a few fanatics.” The claim is that only 10 percent of all Muslims fall into this category of “fanaticism,” but if you do the math – that’s 100 million Muslim fanatics! (Based on the figure of about 1 billion Muslims worldwide) If the reader will pause and think for a second, 100 million Muslims is more than the armies of America, Britain, Australia and Israel combined!

 

The Foundation Of Islam

 

Islam is a religion based on revelations that are said to have been given to the prophet Mohammed by the angel Gabriel and recorded in a book called the Koran. These revelations are considered by Muslims to be the words of God (ALLAH) himself.  Another part of Islam’s foundation however is called the “HADITH,” or the record of Mohammad’s teachings and actions.  During Mohammed’s life, his followers and some of his wives kept records of what he said and did. Muslim scholars later collected these records, tested their authenticity and organized them into books, which are known all together as the HADITH. There are six sets of books that are considered to be authoritative; the must trusted set compiled by a man named al-Burkhari. (GABRIEL) Muslims submit to the teachings of the Hadith because the KORAN commands them to ‘obey’ Mohammed.

 

According to Mark Gabriel, author of “Islam and the Jews,” there is an interesting story about how Mohammed’s authority was first established in the Koran. It involves a Muslim, a Jew, an argument and a murder. When Mohammed was ruling in Medina, people brought disputes for him to settle. A Muslim man needed someone to judge on a matter between him and a Jewish man. The Jew said, “Let’s go to the prophet Mohammed, He’ll make a decision.”

 

The Muslim refused and said he wanted to go to Umar ibn al-Khattab, one of Mohammed’s military leaders who was known to dislike the Jews. The Jew agreed, and they went to Umar’s house. Umar said, “Don’t come to me, go to the prophet Mohammed.” The Muslim said, “No, I want you to decide.” So Umar said, “Wait, and he went into his house, got a sword, came out and sliced the Muslim man’s neck and killed him. When the people heard what happened, they were very sad because Muslims were not supposed to kill other Muslims. What would happen to Umar? Mohammed was very sad too because Umar was one of his most faithful followers. All of a sudden Mohammed received a “new” revelation which he told the people:

 

“Rejoice, Allah came to me with verses that set Al-Khattab free.” This was the revelation:

 

“But no, by your Lord, they can have no Faith, until they make you (O Mohammed) judge in all disputes between them, and find in themselves no resistance against your decision, and accept them with FULL submission.”

 

In other words, the man who sought a judge other than Mohammed had “no faith.” He was not a Muslim and therefore it was ok for Umar to kill him. When the Muslims heard this Koran based revelation, they rejoiced and danced.

 

What does this mean for the modern time we live today and this ever increasing threat upon Planet Earth of Islam? It means that to be a Muslim, you must SUBMIT to the judgments, teachings and ways of Mohammed, period. Muslims cannot take the words of Allah and reject the words of Mohammed. If anyone denies the prophet Mohammed, then he denies his revelation, which is the basis and foundation of all Islam. To the Islamic mind, if one denies Mohammed, they are not a Muslim – even if they are of Arabic descent. It has nothing to do with culture or race but RELIGION!

 

If a Muslim knows his religion, he knows this: if a person is just Muslim by tradition, then he might not understand this. The Koran repeats this point more than once:

 

 

In the Middle East, the Hadith is a way of life. If two people disagree, one might take a copy of the Hadith of al-Burkhari in his hands and say, “I swear on the book of Burkhari, I am telling the truth.” (GABRIEL)

The Hadith is quoted quite frequently along with the Koran, which is important for the reader to understand because many people in the western media give an inaccurate picture of Islam by not taking into consideration the teachings of the Hadith! Many act as if Mohammed does not really represent Islam. From the Muslim point of view, this is heresy.

 

Islam’s Relationship to Judaism and Christianity

 

The reader must understand the roots of how Islam was birthed and how Mohammed came to such prominence to understand Islam's relationship to Judaism and Christianity.

 

Mohammed lived in the seventh century A.D., a time when Jews had been worshipping Yahweh for almost 2,500 years! The Christians had been following Jesus for six hundred years Mohammed’s great dilemma was trying to “fit” his revelations of Islam into a system of belief to win over, not only those not embracing Christianity and Judaism, but those already who were! His “way” of fitting in was saying to the Jews and Christians, “Your prophets were prophets of Islam. Your God is the same as the God of Islam.” THAT SPIRIT STILL SPEAKS THE SAME BLASPHEMY TODAY through many in the modern church world and the halls of government in the United States!

 

The following Surah summarized Mohammed’s feelings:

 

 

How can this be? How could the prophets of the Bible be preaching Israel when the first time the world heard of Islam was through Mohammed’s revelations in the seventh century? The Koran claims that Islam came BEFORE Judaism and Christianity and was the religion practiced by Abraham:

 

 

The Koran claims Islam as the “religion of Abraham” which is important when realizing what Daniel said about the Antichrist:

 

Daniel 11:37 - Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.

 

Some have taken the view that this verse confirms the fact the Antichrist will be a Jew for two reasons. One, whenever the term “fathers,” are used in scripture, it always means the patriarchs of the Jewish people – Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (ISRAEL).  Secondly, many believe the term “God of his fathers,” indicate this man will be an apostate who has departed from the faith of Judaism which believes in Abraham as the figure head of the Jewish race.  That all may be true but we cannot discount the fact that ISLAM ALSO looks to Abraham as its father as well. If the Antichrist were a Muslim, which this writer increasingly believes he will be, this would not contradict Daniel’s view of him!

 

There are NUMEROUS references in the Koran that confirm this: Surah 2:130, 135; 3:95; 4:125; 6:161. (GABRIEL) Also, Abraham and many prophets after him preached Islam, according to the Koran, including Isaac, Ishmael, Jacob, Joseph, Noah, David, Solomon, Moses, John, and Jesus. (Surah 4:163; 6:84-86)

 

So then how does Islam explain the existence of Judaism and Christianity PRIOR to Mohammed’s existence in 620 A.D.? The Koran teaches that Judaism and Christianity were based upon the “earlier revelations” about Allah that came from the prophets (meaning revelations that came earlier than the Koran). These earlier revelations were the Jewish Scriptures (OLD COVENANT) and the Christian New Testament. However, according to Islam, the Jews and Christians “corrupted,” their (ISLAM’S) Scriptures and were no longer worshipping Allah properly, so Allah had to send a “fresh” revelation by way of Mohammed.

 

Now this stupidity and madness would be totally absurd to most true Bible students if it not be for the western media bias and blindness in the hearts of many American pastors who are in ignorance of these facts or KNOW these facts and promote Islam as a actual religious belief system from behind pulpits. One of the largest churches in the country right now is Joel Osteen who was asked by Larry King in 2005 whether he thought those who believed in Islam were saved. He would not stand up and state emphatically that Jesus Christ was the ONLY WAY to God but lumped Islam along side Christianity as it if it were just another way to God. That is blasphemy to the highest ranks and I don’t care if the man has millions coming. He needs to be rebuked for getting on a national television program and denying CHRIST!!! To be frank, he needs to get saved.

 

John 14:6

    Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

 

Does that make me angry? You better believe it. Should that make YOU angry? If you’re saved it should. But if you’re lost in this growing darkness that is enveloping the earth right now that has blinded the hearts of millions both in Islam and the apostate church world, which does not see Islam as a threat, then you’re probably mad at ME for saying that, not Mr. Osteen for claming another way to God other than Christ! I don’t say this in malice, but you need to get saved. You need to get born again and ask the Lord Jesus to shine His light of TRUTH in your heart and soul today neighbor!!!

 

Isaiah 60:1-5

    Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. [2] For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.

 

THERE IS NO OTHER REVELATION OF GOD OTHER THAN JESUS CHRIST AND HIM CRUCIFIED! Jesus was not just another prophet, another good man, another oracle, another mere mortal with teachings fit for the time He lived, HE IS THE CHRIST, THE SON OF THE LIVING GOD, THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE AND NO MAN COMES TO THE FATHER EXCEPT THROUGH HIM!!!!!!!!

 

2 Cor. 4:6

    For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

 

I may be writing to a Muslim reading this right now. Sir, all these works you do in the name of Islam are not going to save you. Despite ALL your activity there is STILL a void that tugs at your heart that something is missing. You lay down at night and the loneliness and despair of what Islam represents grips your soul as a vice full of poison and darkness. That “tug” you feel is from One who LOVES you supremely. He loves you in spite of your hate for Him. He loves and cares for you in spite of the darkness of your soul; He came to die 2,000 years ago on a bloody cross so that all who believed in Him would LIVE and not die.

 

John 3:16

    For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

 

God’s SON is JESUS CHRIST! He is the HOPE OF GLORY, the ROSE of Sharon, the BRIGHT and the MORNING Star. He is the creator of all things and IN HIM we live and breathe. Yet, ALL who He is can only be comprehended through FAITH in what HE did for us ALL at the Cross – Christian, Muslim and Jew! We all stand condemned today to die for sin yet through HIS MERCY and GRACE He has provided pardon and freedom from the shackles and bondages of sin. The hate you feel does not cause God to draw away from you; it makes Him seek to reach out even further if you will but repent, believe and receive His Love for you today!

 

Islam may teach you that Mohammed’s revelations “canceled,” out Christianity and Judaism and brought people back to the one “true religion,” that Abraham understood and practiced. You must as a Muslim, and anyone else for that matter, understand and know that Abraham did not practice a religion, He looked for a CITY whose builder and maker was God almighty. He LOOKED towards the CROSS, the coming Redeemer, of whom Isaac, Abraham’s son,  stood as a type of the day Abraham laid him on the altar typifying what God would do for ALL who believed Him some 3,500 years later.

 

Hebrews 11:8-10 -  - By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went. [9] By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise: [10] For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.

 

Jesus declared to the Pharisees that Abraham “saw HIS DAY,” and was GLAD. He declares the same to YOU today who think Abraham is the father of some “religion.” Abraham looked for the same Redeemer we all look to today for salvation and freedom- the LORD JESUS CHRIST!

   

John 8:56, 58- -Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad; 58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.   

 

When the Lamb was caught in the thicket and Isaac lay on the altar to be sacrificed before God, the angel cried out to Abraham to stay his hand, causing the Patriarch to cry, "Jehovah-Jireh," meaning "the Lord will provide A REDEEMER. This is where the modern gospel has gotten so off track today. We've taken that verse to attach our own selfishness and greed to every want under the sun. God WILL provide, but the PROVISION He gave was through CHRIST and the CROSS for ALL HUMANITY TO BE SAVED - both Jews, Muslims and Gentiles!

 

Genesis 22:13-14 -  And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son. [14] And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovah-jireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the Lord it shall be seen.
 

Before Abraham was – CHRIST WAS! Before Abraham was even born – CHRIST WAS and still IS! And He reaches out in love today to the Muslim world just as He reaches out to those in Judaism and yes, even though who “practice,” Christianity without knowing the CHRIST that Christianity is to represent!

 

John 3:16-17
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. [17] For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

 

Islam: Mohammed Our Final Prophet

 

Islam teaches that Allah rejected the children of Israel because of their sins, and God went back to the seed of Abraham and chose a person from the line of Ishmael to be the final prophet. Mohammed wrote in the Hadith the following summarizing his own position on this:

 

“My similitude in comparison with the other Prophets before e is that of a man who has built a house nicely and beautifully, except for a place of one brick in a corner. The people go round about it and wonder at its beauty, but say: “Would that this brick be put in its place!!’ So I am that brick, and I am the last (end) of the Prophets.”

 

Furthermore, Allah decreed that those who followed Mohammed’s revelation would become the new chosen people.

 

The verse goes on:

 

…Had the people of the Scriptures (Jews and Christians) believed, it would have been better for them.

 

Mohammed is actually half right. It IS better for ALL who believe – but not belief in a false heathen deity from the Arabian dessert - but BELIEF IN THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, THE SON OF THE LIVING GOD, the SON OF ABRAHAM, the SON OF DAVID. The people of the Scriptures are only important in that we represent ONE who is greater than the Scriptures – the LORD JESUS CHRIST. HE is the GOD of the WORD! HE IS THE WORD!

 

John 1:1-3

    In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. [2] The same was in the beginning with God. [3] All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

 

The WORD is JESUS CHRIST; God’s only begotten Son, the first and the last, the beginning and the end!

 

Islam teaches that Muslims now have God’s favor, not the Jews, thus the Muslims are “honored,” by killing Jews and Christians which is how some see them carrying Allah’s final message to the world. And friend, this is the conflict and battle we face as believers in these last days!

 

Our Response

 

We can hide our heads in the sand, and formulate our theology and policies on the basis of a lie, and the lie of which I speak is that Islam is a great religion, a religion of “peace,” or we can wake up and smell the proverbial coffee. Let me state it once again. The religion of Islam, which includes the Koran, is the cause of TERRORISM in the world today! The spirit of this damnable religion is engulfing the world in a flame that will not be quenched through diplomacy or sitting down and “chatting” with those wising to destroy us.  To think we are going to stamp out terrorism without dealing with the true cause of terrorism is foolishness.

 

President Bush should be applauded and appreciated more than he is for seeking to bring democracy to the world of Islam. However, the problems of the Muslim world, which are ignorance, poverty and superstition, all fueled by despotic dictators, cannot be properly addressed without addressing the cause of those problems and that is the original sin nature of Adam and the roots of this damnable religion we know today as Islam.

 

As a democratic nation and leader of the free world we should try to encourage democracy among these particular countries; however, at the same time, we must not deceive ourselves into thinking that the cause of the problems is something else other than the religion we speak of. Ignorance and stupidity cannot come out to a plus. As Christians, however, even though we know the Truth about Islam, still, Jesus died for the Muslims, just the same as He died for all others. We as believers should LOVE the Muslims just as we love everyone else, but not forget what their religion actually is.

 

We should not expect the President of the United States, or any of our leaders, to rail out against Islam. That wouldn’t be sensible, and neither would it solve anything. But at the same time, we should not expect our leaders to “praise,” something that vows our destruction. I repeat: They do not lack the will, JUST the way! Iran’s current thirst for nuclear weapons is not an idle threat. The words of its president are not the chanting or mutterings of a mad man. He’s mad alright, but the words he speaks are coming from his heart and if he had the means to do it, he’d nuke Israel first, and then nuke America without blinking.

 

In the final analysis, the only solution for the problem, as it is for any other problem, is the message of the true gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. At the same time, we know that virtually the entirety of the Muslim world, even if they had the opportunity to hear of Christ, would reject Him because of the deep darkness upon their hearts. this is what we must pray against and intercede to see cease.

 

2 Cor. 4:4
In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

 

Ancient Babylon, And Islam

 

Rev. 16:19

    And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.

 

Isaiah’s prophetic declaration of the “burden of Babylon,” tells us that other than Israel, Islam will be, at least in some ways, the primary player in the end times with the city of Babylon, being center stage during the first half of the Great Tribulation period. Babylon, as we are here addressing, will be rebuilt, whether as a system or a city, or both.  This writer believes it will be both.

 

Ancient Babylon was in Iraq, about 75 miles south of modern Baghdad. What the United States is presently doing in Iraq could very well be setting the stage and laying the ground work that will usher in tremendous change in that country, with commerce one again becoming its greatest activity instead of religion. In other words, even though our leader realizes it not at all, what they are doing is paving the way for the rebuilding of Babylon as a great commercial center in the world, which the Bible predicts for this region. (Rev. 19) When the Antichrist comes to power, his FIRST headquarters will be Babylon. There is one view that at some point the religion of Islam will give way to Antichrist worship, because he will tolerate no opposition or rival worship. He will demand ALL worship and allegiance to himself, not to any religion otherwise.

 

Daniel 11:36-39

    And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvelous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done. [37] Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all. [38] But in his estate shall he honor the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honor with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things. [39] Thus shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain.

 

This writer actually believes that it makes more sense that the Antichrist will himself be a Muslim already involved in the worship of Islam which by its very name means “submission,” the spirit through which the Antichrist will seek to rule the world! It is probably little known by most believers that “Iraq” is mentioned in the Bible more than any other place with the exception of Israel and Jerusalem! However, it goes under several names:

 

 

Of course, the name “Iraq,” is not mentioned, that being of recent origin. Furthermore, it was the site where the first Sacrificial System was presented by the Lord to the First family!

 

Genesis 4:5-8 But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell. [6] And the Lord said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen? [7] If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him. [8] And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.

 

It is believed that Noah lived in Iraq and built the Ark in that country. It was Babylon which destroyed the southern Kingdom of Judah and took the people captive. It was Babylon which destroyed, under Nebuchadnezzar, Solomon’s Temple. It was in Iraq that the book of Daniel was written. Iraq was also the site of the Tower of Babel, close to ancient Babylon, which was the first organized rebellion against God.

 

It was in Iraq (Babylon) that Nebuchadnezzar had his great dream, interpreted by Daniel, which outlined the nations and empires of the world which would persecute Israel and play a part in End time events. The Three Wise Men came from Iraq to worship Baby Jesus.

 

The Tower of Babel was the site of the first organized rebellion against God, which was near ancient Babylon, which will be the site of the last organized rebellion, namely the rebuilding of Babylon, with it being utterly destroyed by the Lord at the very conclusion of the Great Tribulation period. It will be the seat of the Beast for the first 3 ½ years before he invades Jerusalem and sets up a blasphemous image in Israel’s rebuilt Temple where he will declare himself a god and demand worship.

 

Those who do not “submit,” to worshipping the beast will be beheaded, a fundamental way that Islam uses in executing those who oppose it and or the way of punishment for those who embrace it.

 

Rev. 20:4

    And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

   

The First Headquarters of the Beast

 

As stated, modern Iraq was once the center of the ancient Babylonian Empire. Baghdad served as the headquarters and center of operation for several dynasties. Saddam Hussein, the Butcher of Baghdad, hoped he would be the dynasty that would usher Babylon back from the ashes of death. He will not be that person. Like Hitler and the evil dictators before him, his rule has now come to an end and more than likely, his life will soon follow. He will never become the leader of the new Islamic crescent or the new king of Babylon. Yet, in the future, with Saddam removed and the country under different leadership, the ancient land of Shinar (IRAQ) could once again expand with wealth from the oil wells and be rebuilt as a strong nation.

 

The Bible teaches a soon coming season of false peace that will involve Israel and her Arab/Muslim neighbors. Yet, out of this same region of the world will arise a new type Islamic republic, one headed by the most violent, blood-thirsty man to have ever lived in history, and one worshipped as Islam’s last prophet-Messiah. The Holy Spirit restrains His appearance at the present but soon he will be revealed to the world in his full identity – and power.

 

The Shi’ite Branch of Islam needs a headquarters. Iran is somewhat a base for that right now but in time Iraq will come under Shi’ite domination. This is the issue at the present with the civil unrest we see played out in our news media each day there. Sunnis and Shi’ites are fighting for control of the nation as it seeks to form a coalition government that will offer democracy for all Iraqis. This will not be easy, and this writer is not sure even possible. We know in the end that the Shi’ite branch will eventually take over this prophetic territory with a great deal of help, I believe, from Iran.

 

It’s no coincidence or quirk that Iran is seeking nuclear weapons. It’s no quirk that military sources allege Iran is funneling weapons and sending fighters over the border into southern Lebanon to help in Hezbollah’s fight with Israel. Iran plans to fight any coalition government that is not totally Shi’ite.  One main reason Iran wants to control its neighbor to the west is because the two holiest cities in Shi’ite Islam – Karbala and Samara – are located in Iraq.

 

Samara is the place where a mosque was destroyed a few weeks back from the date of this writing in early 2006. When the mosque was destroyed Iran stirred up riots and anger among Muslims alleging the United States destroyed the mosque, and yes, accused Israel of being along side.  Since the Antichrist does not invade Israel until the middle of the seven-year period, he will be living and ruling from another nation prior to making his move against Israel. The prophet Daniel says this about the Antichrist’s scope of influence at the beginning:

 

Daniel 11:23

And after the league made with him he shall work deceitfully: for he shall come up, and shall become strong with a small people.

 

Daniel 7:8

I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.

 

His authority is identified through the symbol of “a little horn,” and that he will become strong, “with a small people.” This reveals that for the first 42 months, the Antichrist will not be a well-known powerful leader. He will not necessarily have any direct power over the EU, but will control a very small number of people, which is identical to the definite of Shi'ite Islam. The Shi'ites make up by 10% of all Muslims; the other 90% being Sunnis. He will gain his ultimate power through deception and demonic control and spirits. Satan himself will empower this man in the middle of the “week,” and place all of hell’s fury inside this man’s heart and soul. An indicator that Iraq will be heavily involved in this end-time, prophetic conflict is found in Revelation. John tells us of activity involving the Euphrates River and a massive, 200-million man army that will cross the river and pass through Iraq.

 

No other land mass, other than Israel, has a richer prophetic history than Iraq: To summarize Iraq:

 

 

This new Babylon will eventually consists of the areas encompassed by Iraq, Syria and Lebanon. It is not necessary for a future Iraqi leader to continue to rebuild the ancient ruins of Babylon because the SPIRIT of Babylon will be released during the Tribulation and work in the hearts of the Beast and 10 Kings.

 

John Saw This Spirit

 

Rev. 6:1-6

    And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. [2] And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer. [3] And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see. [4] And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword. [5] And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. [6] And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.

 

 If you look at the current flag of the Palestine Liberation Organization four colors stand out plainly:

 

 

Those colors by themselves have no mystical meaning but if you look at those colors in light and comparison to what John saw in his vision of the rise of Antichrist, they take on a whole new meaning.

 

I challenge the reader to do something very simple in their devotional time; look up the term “Arab National Flags” in a Google search and find any website that lists the flags of ALL Arab nations – 100% of which are controlled by this spirit of Islam we have tried to foundationally define in this message. One must remember that what John recorded in Revelation were events taking place in the Spirit realm behind the scenes of events taking place in the natural realm on Earth. 

 

 

Thus, the four colors of the horsemen in Revelation - red, white, black and green – are the SAME colors of every Arabian national flag controlled by the Spirit of Islam today. We not trying to over spiritualize these colors but as with everything in the Word of God that’s recorded in the books of Daniel and Revelation are to be taken literally yes, but understood as visions in the Spirit Realm. I believe John saw the rise of Islam without being able to name it in his vision but describing it's militant spread over Planet Earth during the end times. John saw through a glass darkly then as we see through a glass darkly today. However, we in this generation are privileged in many ways to see MORE of the light through that glass as things become more clear prior to the rapture. That is why we are such a prophetic generation and have great responsibility on us to spread this mighty gospel of Jesus Christ to the four corners of the Earth. We've been given MUCH and MUCH will be required of us as a nation!

 

We don’t believe every Muslim is a terrorist but the facts are clear that every single terrorist act of any consequence over the past 60 years has been by MUSLIMS! Those are two totally different opinions concerning the Muslim world. We don’t hate Muslims, we love them. It’s out of our love for them we speak the truth to them that Jesus Christ, not Mohammed, is the only way. However, we cannot shrink back and not emphatically state how dangerous and prophetically significant the Spirit of Islam is in setting the stage RIGHT NOW for coming world events!

 

This journal took us two days to write and prior to starting the final editing process on the second day we got news of a thwarted terrorist attack planned by Muslim terrorists who planned to mix explosives in drinks aboard nine different planes and blow them up mid-air. This is the true face of Islam friend, like that statement or not, it is the truth.  Those who call themselves “moderate” Muslims will one day be swept up in this same spirit and join the forces of the Antichrist to fulfill his plan to destroy Israel. What you and I see right now in the late summer of 2006 in the Middle East is but a dress rehearsal for things to come on a grander scale later.

 

I pray you know Christ today. As I write these words, the tears flow from my cheeks knowing that the days ahead are truly going to be “days of vengeance,” as the Lord said they would be. It also excites this writer to know we are so close to the rapture of the church as we see events foretold 3,500 years ago by prophets burst onto the world scene in a meteorite fashion and scale.

 

I leave you today with a word of comfort that Jesus Himself spoke in Matthew 24 while predicting a great time of tribulation coming on the Earth. As He basically said Hell itself would come to Earth in the future, He declares, “See that you be not troubled.” That is what I leave with to the believer whose faith is anchored in Christ and Him Crucified. Yes, things are about to get bad, very bad. I dare say most Americans and sadly, even most Christians, understand the mortal danger America sits in today as well as Israel and the entire world from Islam.

 

However, because I know HIM, the Son of God, I can rest knowing that HE holds my life in His Hand and all things that happen to me MUST go through Him first! That’s why I can say to you who are anchored in Him also – SEE THAT YOU BE NOT TROUBLED. These things must come to pass, THEN THE END WILL COME. JESUS IS COMING friend, and He is coming soon!

 

If you are lost today, TODAY is the day of salvation! Today is the day you need to humble yourself under the hand of a Holy God and repent of your sins, crying to Him for mercy and salvation. Call on Him before it is too late neighbor. I plead with you to do that today. Praise God.

 

Matthew 24:3-7

    And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? [4] And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. [5] For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. [6] And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. [7] For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
