Holy Spirit And The Golden Lampstand
The Golden Lampstand is a type of Christ, the Light of the World, but also the New Testament believer who must be FILLED with the HOLY SPIRIT. The priests of Samuel day had let the light go out because of neglect, apostasy and sin. As we enter into one of the most important seasons this writer believes our nation faces the next 18 months the church of the Lord Jesus cannot afford, for the nation's sake, to let the LIGHT and message of the power of the HOLY GHOST go out! The Golden Lampstand pictured our union with Christ and what He alone accomplished at the Cross; it was not several pieces "welded" into one , but one piece of hammered out GOLD, with branches, bowls, knobs and flowers - all typifying the believer's union with CHRIST. That union is vital today for us to embrace if we are to burn brightly for the Kingdom of God. It's getting late and the seriousness of the hour calls for serious believers in Jesus. The HOLY GHOST is the OIL that produces the LIGHT that helps us not walk in spiritual darkness!

TEXT: Exod. 25:31-40 "You shall also
make a lamp stand of pure gold; the lamp stand shall be of hammered work. Its
shaft, its branches, its bowls, its ornamental knobs, and flowers shall be of
one piece. And six branches shall come out of its sides: three branches of the
lamp stand out of one side, and three branches of the lamp stand out of the
other side. Three bowls shall be made like almond blossoms on one branch, with
an ornamental knob and a flower, and three bowls made like almond blossoms on
the other branch, with an ornamental knob and a flower-- and so for the six
branches that come out of the Lampstand
1 Samuel 3:3 - And ere the lamp of God went out in the temple of the Lord, where
the ark of God was, and Samuel was laid down to sleep; [4] That the Lord called
Samuel: and he answered, Here am I
This journal is in part a new journal and in
part a continuation of a two-part journal we wrote a few months back entitled
“Ere the lamp of God go out in the Temple of the Lord.” which detailed Israel’s
darkest hour when the ark of God was taken from her and the Word of God became
so rare only Samuel the prophet would be the source through which God would
speak. I want to take a closer look in this journal at the work of the priests
in the Holy Place as it related then and as it relates to us today concerning
the Golden Lampstand, the LIGHT in the Temple of the Lord that went out in
Samuel’s day and sadly, and to be frank very frighteningly is going out in
America today, including the American CHURCH.
As we write this journal in the fall of 2007, our nation is involved in
something totally different than it ever has been involved in, the situation of
course I’m referring to is Iraq. One year from now we will be electing a new
President who will inherit a situation that has not been a pretty one for the
current Bush administration to say the least. Every son or daughter killed in
this conflict has been a precious loss and one that cannot be just looked on as
a “noble” sacrifice. I know that had one of those boys been one of my three sons
my heart would be broke in a million pieces. We fight an enemy we THINK is
political when in fact the enemy is a spiritual one meaning of course the spirit
behind the religion of Islam.
The President of Iran, which is Iraq’s neighbor, has stated that to hurry the
arrival of the “Muslim” Messiah the Arab world looks for that the Arabs must
create chaos in the world, as the world has ever seen, and has predicted the
destruction of both Israel and America. We have just passed the six year
anniversary of 9-11-2001, when adherents to this “wonderful, honorable,
friendly and non-violent,” religion of Islam took 4 planes, flying two into the
World Trade Center, one into the Pentagon, and had it not been for brave souls
over a Pennsylvania farm field, would have flown the fourth probably either into
the White House or the Capitol. Yet the world, and a growing number in
Washington and the evangelical community, is slow to make the connection between
Islam and the problems we have faced in Iraq. This is a SPIRITUAL matter and one
that cannot be handled or solved through political means.
As we write this two events have occurred in the Middle East just in the last 48
hours that should they develop further could have catastrophic effects for
America and Israel. On Tuesday, September 18, 2007, Israel conducted an overt
bombing operation on a facility in Syria that many believe to have been a
nuclear plant that was producing materials for nuclear bombs and weapons of mass
destruction. Just 24 hours after Israel conducted this operation, some 33
technicians died, including several Iranian and North Korean scientists, while
seeking to show the Syrian government how to add Sarong gas capsules to the end
of missiles. Let me stop here just a minute and say something to those who have
been screaming for four years now our campaign into Iraq was about oil and a
misled government.
One of the reports that came out of Iraq a few years back certainly stated there
was no evidence any weapons of mass destruction were found there. However, this
same report mentioned several TONS of sarong gas, one of the deadliest chemical
agents known in warfare and if detonated over a major American city would kill
thousands instantly and perhaps over time millions were missing from previous
catalogs of stockpiles the late Sadaam Hussein thought to have had in his
arsenal after the first Gulf War. It was the same type gas Hitler used to
destroy six million Jewish lives during the Holocaust. The gas did not
“evaporate” into thin air friend. Many prophetic people who I respect and trust
said they felt in the spirit that the weapons did exist and Syria had played a
major role in acquiring these weapons in Sadaam’s attempt to hide them from
American forces he knew were coming. It never helps the “surprise” part of war
when a wicked news media betrays the country it reports on by telling our
enemies six months in advance our strategies and intentions to invade them. Let
me get off of that right now before I get really wired up.
This same type gas was what accidentally exploded and killed 33 Iranian and
North Korean scientists Wednesday, who were in Syria for the direct purpose of
training Syrian military officials in the art of nuclear and chemical weapon
development. This is not something the STUPID, AMERICAN liberal news media will
address but it is this writer’s humble opinion that sarong gas is possibly, if
not probably some of the same stockpiles of weapons that WERE in Iraq at one
time but were moved months ahead of the U.S. led invasion of 2003.
At the same exact moment this was happening, Iran announced it had pointed 600
missiles at “strategic U.S. and Israeli targets,” i.e. cities, that should the
U.S. or Israel seek to dismantle Iran’s nuclear program, would be fired at
Israel, according to the Iranian President. This same nutcase/madman is
scheduled to come to America next week and wants to “pay his respects” at the
memorial of 9-11 by placing a “wreath for the dead” at its base. If the cabbage
for brain politicians in New York let this idiot do such they should be
impeached and thrown out of office. The “dead” the Iranian president is
referring to are NOT the 3,000 American lives lost on 9-11 but group of the 19
dead hijackers who flew the planes into the Twin Towers that fateful September
day.
Israel celebrated Rosh Hashanah last Tuesday, 9-12-2007, a day after the year
anniversary of 9-11 here in America. On that same day, Russia’s government
dissolved, two earthquakes struck the West Coast, a massive 8.0 earthquake hit
Indonesia along with a small tsunami, the first hurricane to hit U.S. land in 2
years came ashore in Texas and oil hit $80 a barrel. Friend, those events were
foreshadows of coming events on a larger and grander scale in the very near
future. The trump of God is about to sound neighbor, the dead in Christ shall
rise FIRST and we which are alive shall be CAUGHT up in the air to meet the LORD
in the air!
This same religion behind the events we just spoke of in Syria and Iran has been
“honing” it’s sword for over 1600 years now and it’s fundamental purpose is to
attack our nation again and make 9-11 look like a pen prick. The news media
loves to use the term “civil war,” to describe the chaos in Iraq. “We just don’t
understand why the Sunnis and the Shia ‘can’t get along’” it seems is the lynch
pin theology in Washington. WOW, we’re just now figuring out Arabs can’t get
along with each other?? Do we not understand this is NOT about a civil war
between two Arab factions but a brewing storm when the Shia’ and the Sunnis will
band together under this same banner of Islam and fight the entire Western
avenues of civilization? Are we so busy in the church today that we’re wanting
to preach on things that matter temporally and not eternally and don’t see the
closeness and seriousness of this hour?
We’re in darkness from the highest levels of government to the rank and file of
pulpits all across this land not knowing what to do about this growing threat;
neighbor, quite frankly and quite seriously, the lamp of God is going out in the
Temple of the Lord.
With elections less than a year away all the political candidates, - both
Republican and Democratic - spew out their “solution” to this problem which will
have no solution long term friend. Hear what this writer is saying to you today.
If America continues down this road of rebellion, she will continue to sink into
darkness and will find herself in such an abyss she will be destroyed! Part of
Israel’s judgment during similar times of apostasy was God sent her wicked
leaders to rule over her and oppress her. I cannot help but feel America is
headed down a similar path if we don’t turn around soon. There are two
candidates right now in the Democratic Party that if either are elected will
plunge this nation into a spiritual cauldron of homosexuality, abortion and
continue to push for the loss of our national sovereignty. These same two
candidates I speak are promising to make this nation’s focus no more on “war”
and “terrorism” but our “domestic” agenda that they feel has been so neglected
by President Bush, who is seen as the devil incarnate by many.
Do we even care? Has the church just stop caring about this nation to the point
we get behind our pulpits and don’t see the evil in this type platform? Have we
become so blind we can’t see that homosexuality is still a Sin! Have we become
so callous and blind because of the darkness that we don’t even weep any more
for the death of the unborn through abortion, which is MURDER? I’m going to
state something here that I know will make some folks mad and that is quite ok.
If you pull that lever next November for a candidate that you KNOW and you
WILLINGLY know supports abortion and you vote for them because of partisan party
tradition and politics you are just as culpable as they are for every single
murdered unborn baby that will take place under their administration and watch!
Hear what I say to you child of God. Get your head out of the political arena
and get it back in the WORD OF GOD. I don’t care WHAT party the person is
representing but if that party supports abortion you as a child of God have no
business voting for them! I don’t care if they are promising to bring back Elvis
and Santa Claus in the same breath. You better stop voting your backside (where
your wallet rests) and vote your conscience!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sadly,
because the conscience of MILLIONS has been seared, the issues of abortion don’t
even come to mind anymore. The fact there will be a wave of pro-homosexual,
anti-God, anti-Christian legislation pushed through and passed does not bother
us. We are in darkness!
Let me tell you something. When any nation, including America, loses its moral
compass and conscience and ceases to care about innocent life, that nation
itself will succumb to those who care little for innocent life! The maniacs
pointing missiles at Israel right now and our targets care NOTHING about
innocent life. Did we not learn that lesson from 9-11? Did we not learn the
lesson our enemies care NOTHING about killing children, women, men, young, old,
black, white, Democrat or Republican to push their demonically inspired agenda
and make Islam the religion to whom ALL must submit or die?
We have had the first EVER Islamic-based school open in New York City and I
believe it is just the beginning of a greater wave of events coming to America.
We have not protected innocent life and God is about to remove His hand of
protection over the innocent lives of our citizens if we don’t repent! We are in
darkness friend and the light of God is going out in the Temple of the Lord! The
answer to the darkness is ONE THING and ONE THING alone - the GOSPEL OF JESUS
CHRIST. Jesus is the LIGHT of the World; He that knows HIM will not walk in
Darkness but have the LIGHT OF LIFE!
Israel Then, America Today
As we wrote in great detail in the previous two journals in this series, the
loss of light in the Temple of the Lord now nearly 3100 years ago was more of a
symptom that Israel was in a sickened spiritual and moral condition. Her priests
were using their high and holy office to molest the women who came to the
Tabernacle and holding out greedy hands for filthy lucre and bribes. The two
main desires of the priesthood under Eli were money and immorality. Does that
not sound like today’s American church?
Marriage today has become a joke. We just tell people now to live together
without thought any longer of the sinfulness and wickedness of it. Whenever the
home breaks down in a nation; when the home begins to come apart, the thought is
now “don't worry about marriage.”
Hear this writer. Living together and having sexual relations OUTSIDE the bounds
of marriage is SIN! Let me be a bit cruder - SHACKING UP - as some call it is a
SIN! It is ungodly; it’s an affront to God who performed the first wedding
ceremony in the Garden of Eden. If you are reading this journal and you’re
living with someone and having sex outside marriage - GET MARRIED and REPENT!
You’re committing adultery! We don’t hear that term anymore in the church today
because the light is going out in the TEMPLE of the Lord. Lust is grasping at
the priesthood as never before. Spirits of perversion and homosexuality are
causing minister after minister to fall into moral depravity and it seems that
NOTHING is standing in the way to stop this awful tide of darkness.
Israel was a moral wreck and America is a moral wreck today. Yet, in the midst
of darkness and what looks like hopelessness and helplessness, God always has a
PROMISE and a PROPHET. In Israel’s day both the promise AND the prophet was
wrapped up in a man named Samuel, who was laid down to sleep speaking to us that
the prophetic voice in America has been laid down to sleep; but it's being
awakened in these last days to speak to this nation!
Samuel was that prophetic voice whose “words
never fell to the ground,” to a backslidden nation, and as such became a type of
Christ and also a picture of the restored prophetic voice to America in these
last days. He was Israel’s last judge, first prophet, and in time operated as a
priest - a type of the Lord’s role as PROPHET, PRIEST and JUDGE to the Church.
There was none quite like Samuel and other than John the Baptist and Moses,
Israel never received greater clarity of word than through his ministry.
Because the light has gone out, the prophetic voice has been silenced for the
most part here in America. When the prophetic voice stops, there is no clarity
of Word from heaven which always leads to apostasy. God however, is about to
speak afresh to America once more through her true prophets, who like Samuel,
have been laid down to sleep by the modern church but who are about to awake!
This promise is going to be great and glorious in Jesus name! Praise God.
Without the light of the Golden Lampstand, Israel’s priests could not see what
they were doing inside the Holy Place, which is in type a picture of the modern
ministry today. We are a ROYAL priesthood unto God serving our Great High
Priest. We are to reflect HIS LIGHT as we minister to others around us and in
essence the nation as Samuel ministered to the nation as we see in this passage.
Let’s look more closely at the Tabernacle and the Golden Lampstand that gave the
light which helped the priests know what to do in the Holy Place.
The Golden Lampstand Lighted The Holy Place
Had you been there you’d seen the brazen altar at the gate facing eastward. This
altar was a type of the Cross, the place of sacrifice, where lambs and bullocks
were slain constantly, and their throats being slit. The blood would literally
pour out of these animals to the point that the priests would “splash” in the
blood around the altar. The four horns pointed North, South, East, West, meaning
that the salvation which was to come through Christ and the Cross would be for
ALL, not just a select few!
Come, without MONEY and without PRICE. Oh, you who are thirsty, COME to the
waters and drink, saith the Lord. For God so LOVED the world, that He gave His
only begotten SON that WHOSOEVER WILL believe on Him, should not perish, but
HAVE everlasting LIFE. Glory to God. This salvation we speak of is not some
bargain basement, Wal-Mart sale type salvation neighbor. It’s a GREAT and
GLORIOUS salvation.
Let me just say this right here and now and get this out of the way. If your
church is not preaching the CROSS get out of that church! If your pastor is more
concerned about what Rick Warren has to say about matters of eternity and he is
not Spirit-filled - GET OUT OF THAT CHURCH. You’re in a death hole mister.
You’re in a pit of snakes and a den of iniquity that will drag your soul to
hell! It’s been 9 months now since a door was slammed shut in our face by a
local ministry over the baptism in the Holy Ghost. I hurt for months over this
and still grieve to some point because of what happened. But I’d rather not be
around a ministry who mocks the HOLY GHOST! I don’t want to be around a ministry
that promotes self-help humanism instead of promoting THE CROSS and the CROSS
alone. If a ministry is trying to add to what Christ accomplished at the Cross
as a means to faith and deliverance that ministry friend is NOT preaching the
Cross and will lead you astray. Some ministries do it out of ignorance but a
great majority does so because of unbelief and hardness of heart pertaining to
the things of God. You can’t separate the Cross of Christ from the POWER that
brings the Cross into reality into our hearts and that is the HOLY SPIRIT!
We either believe in the Cross of Christ and the power of the Holy Ghost or we
don’t! We either preach CHRIST CRUCIFIED and HIM ALONE as the source of
salvation for man’s ills or we don’t. We either preach that Jesus alone saves or
we don’t. We can’t strattle the fence or seek to tell people to believe in Jesus
AND enter rehab centers. We can’t tell people we believe in the Cross then go
out and hand them a Purpose Driven Life book that we hope has the answer to why
people are not enthused about the things of God. I‘ll tell you why people are
not enthused about the things of God – most of them are lost!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Preacher, do you want to know why your church is dead?? Get your people saved
and baptized in the Holy Ghost and believe me it won’t be dead! People who are
born of the Spirit and baptized in the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking
with other tongues are normally the most fired up group of people in the entire
world. You won’t have to beg people to give; you won’t have to beg people to
participate; you won’t have to beg people to attend. The reason most people have
fallen out of church is not so much the people are backslidden and cold to God
they are COLD to a COLD, DEAD, LEGALISTIC, FORMAL, LIFELESS, and STUFFY
BACKSLIDDEN church system that reeks with the smell of the world and the world’s
system more than it reeks of the aroma of Jesus! Show me a church full of the
Holy Ghost and I’ll show you a church where the fragrance of a living CHRIST
abides!
The days of having one foot in the world and one foot in God’s Kingdom are soon
to end. As my brother said recently, God is getting ready to remove the “gray
areas” of Christendom which will force us to either be people of TRUE FAITH or
apostates!
If it’s not the Cross and Christ Crucified then our message is APOSTATE! If your
church is preaching the Purpose Driven Life and not preaching the Cross and
believing in the power of God for deliverance then neighbor you are a FOOL for
being part of such foolishness! I don’t mean that to sound unkind or callous but
I ask you a serious question in this growing abyss of darkness we find ourselves
in this modern hour. Has the church lost its mind??? Have we lost our total
mental capacities in the church world today thinking that the powers of darkness
will bow to the principles of Freud?
Let me tell you this without flinching. When the light of God goes out in any
church, that church becomes quite frankly and blunt, “STUPID” in its worship. I
want to say it again. Without the HOLY SPIRIT lighting our way and empowering
our efforts we become STUPID in our worship! ALL WORSHIP BEGINS at the Cross of
Christ and no where else. The FIRES on the brazen altar that burned night and
day were a testimony to this truth that ALL things start at Calvary. You can’t
circumvent Calvary and expect to get into the Holy Place. The priest who dared
do such would die instantly at the hand of God.
I wander how many churches have died spiritually because they have circumvented
the Cross? Youth pastor, get your kids out of the bowling alleys and get them to
an altar and pray through! Stop taking them to pony shows, parties, baseball
games, rock concerts, beach trips and everything else that appeals to their
fleshly lusts, and get the power of God in your services and let the GLORY fall.
They don’t need another softball team to join; they need an ALTAR to grab hold
too and plead for God’s mercy and grace to change their hearts and life before
it is eternally too late! Are you hearing me? It’s sad we have lost sight of
eternity in this modern hour but we had better regain that sight quickly.
Only the priests from the tribe of Levi could go beyond the brazen altar to the
brazen laver, into the Holy Place where they ministered daily to the Lord. To
the right would be the table of showbread, typifying Christ, the Bread of Life.
He is our sustenance and there is no other source of life outside of HIM!
As one looked straight ahead, immediately in front of the veil that separated
the Holy Place from the Holy of Holies stood the Golden Altar on incense,
typifying Christ as our intercessor. Some stupid and imbecilic preacher said the
other day over one of the major religious networks they didn’t believe we needed
the intercession of Christ today. Their theory was the church had “matured” in
these last days to the point we could pray for ourselves. Neighbor, let me tell
you something and hear this writer clear and plain and without blinking. You and
I could not and would not last FIVE seconds without HIS intercession for us!
THIS IS HOW STUPID WE SOUND WHEN THE LIGHT GOES OUT AND OUR HEARTS BECOME
DARKENED! Apostasy makes us stupid, and darkness makes us stupid.
How does He do that you ask? He doesn’t “DO”
anything; it’s already been DONE at the Cross! Never forget this friend. His
intercession for His Church is based upon THE BLOOD as He SITS at the right hand
of God. He’s not STANDING as the priests of Israel had to in olden times; but He
SITS. My Lord, that makes me want to shout. When the devil has hit you with his
best haymaker, Jesus is not up in heaven pacing around the grounds – He’s
SITTING, INTERCEDING where through He is ABLE to save to the UTTERMOST. Jesus
paid it all. Sin had left a crimson stain, but He washed it white as snow. Rock
of Ages- LET THE WATER and the BLOOD be to me a DOUBLE CURE - saved from wrath
and make me pure!
The altar of incense 9AM and 3PM priests go the brazen altar outside and take a
coal, where the fires never went out, take coals of fire morning sacrifice,
lamb's throat was being slit Our salvation did not come cheap. It took the
precious shed blood of Jesus Christ. THIS MINISTRY BELIEVES IN THE BLOOD OF
JESUS. We preach, we sing, we shout, we cry, we proclaim the BLOOD OF JESUS. We
believe in the BLOOD of Jesus, the fragrance that separates our sins from the
Father's nostrils. His sweet aroma is what the Father smells when He sees us
through the blood.
This aroma FILLED the HOLY PLACE as a result of
the priest taking a coal from the brazen altar and putting it on the brazen
altar of incense. A lot more could be said about that which we will in a future
journal. Sufficient to say, the altar of WORSHIP was connected in both command
and typology to the altar of sacrifice!
A Hammered Work
The way the priests could see to place the coals from the brazen altar on the
altar of incense as well as to pour the coals was by the LIGHT of the Golden
Lampstand. The Golden Lampstand was made out of one piece of Gold, three prongs,
on each side, totally six with the middle shaft being SEVEN. The typology is
deep and rich; man's number in scripture is always “six.” God’s number is always
“seven.” The Golden Menorah was the only piece of furniture that typified the
church made up of fallen, yet redeemed humanity.
Oil, a type of the Holy Ghost, was to be placed in the flower bowls on top of
each stem, typifying the church and individual believers being FULL of the HOLY
GHOST. Be not DRUNK with wine wherein there is excess but be (or be continually)
FILLED with the HOLY GHOST! (Eph. 5:18).
The six stems were united and grafted into the seventh stem, a type of CHRIST,
as ONE piece of Gold, not as attached pieces. NO modern craftsman in the world
could do that today. When Bezaleel, the craftsman Moses got to make this lamp
stand, was a type of the Holy Ghost himself, a “worker craftsman skilled in
understanding” of precious gold and metals. Friend, hear what I proclaim to you
today. We are not "welded" on to Christ; we are IN CHRIST! To Him, we are
PRECIOUS in His sight as being UNITED with the SON and as a result, united with
the FATHER!
Jesus said, “I am IN THE FATHER, and YOU ARE IN ME and I AM IN YOU.” Paul increased upon this revelation by declaring, “I am Crucified with Christ, yet Christ lives in me,” through the power of the Holy Ghost! YOU ARE IN CHRIST, IN CHRIST, IN CHRIST, IN CHRIST!!!
All the demons, fallen angels, powers of darkness, principalities, and even the
devil himself, fallen angels can’t get us OUT of Christ’s hands! To get ME out
you have to rip out CHRIST and neighbor I can assure you today Christ is not
going to get ripped out! OUT!
Bezaleel didn't weld them together,
but took ONE PIECE of Gold and beat it out to illustrate the coming intercessory
prayer of Christ, “Father, I pray that they may be ONE!”
Our UNION with Christ is pictured in the Lampstand. That unity is NOT
unity based upon false doctrine or unity based upon an ecumenical system of
ideology where there is not real unity but just an agreeing to disagree over
essential doctrinal issues as the church world tries to prop up today as true
unity. UNITY is the unity of the FAITH of Christ and the Cross and any attempt
at unity on any other grounds is NOT unity but apostasy and darkness! If the
lamp went out, they couldn't see how to apply the coals of fire to the altar of
incense. Every day they were to trim the wicks of the 7 lamps beaten into one
piece of gold; the Lampstand had knobs, flowers and bowls. The knobs, a type of
the resurrection; the flowers, a type of the Fruit of the Spirit; the bowl, a
type of the resurrection and His righteousness that FLOWS to us as a result of
the OIL of the HOLY GHOST.
The priest would come in with fresh oil two times a day; however, if they
neglected the care of the Lampstand, as what took place in Samuel’s day, it
would SUIT up the Tabernacle and the light would go out causing the priests to
wander in darkness within the Holy Place.
I don’t mean to be unkind as we close here but there are some folks reading this
that have attitudes that are SUITING up the Body of Christ! There are CHURCHES
whose attitudes STINK to high heaven as it pertains to true ministry and power
of the Lord Jesus Christ. You can spot these type churches a mile away. They
usually have 15,000 programs going on every week but no one is getting saved; no
one is getting baptized in the Spirit; no one is getting healed; no one is
getting delivered from drugs; no one is getting set free from the powers of
DARKNESS.
The church needs a REFILLING of the HOLY GHOST. The church needs its OIL
changed!!!!!!! Not only did the Priest come and fill the bowls with oil, they
would could come and trim the candle’s wick, cutting off just enough to make the
light burn bright. Let that pattern sink in to you today. They CLEANED the bowl,
put in new oil and trimmed the wick essentially making a new one to MAKE the
light burn brighter! Many reading this journal today have forgotten what the
Spirit of God can do for you. Some have sunk into unbelief, cynicism, mockery
and sadly and even more serious some have blasphemed the Spirit of God by their
darkened hearts and minds. The oil was typical of the HOLY GHOST, who WITHOUT,
the church will not get anything done and as a result the LIGHT is going to go
out – not only in our churches but in our nation as well.
As I close this message today I want to say this. I mentioned “stupid” worship
earlier and that is exactly what is going on in most churches today. STUPIDITY
and idiotic, moronic things done in the name of God that are as wicked and
ungodly as night is day. Because we don’t have the LIGHT of the HOLY GHOST
showing us the way we do these things in darkness without the fear of God. When
the light went out in Israel’s day, it was a symptom of a far deeper problem in
Eli’s household and ministry. His sons had lost the fear of God.
As we enter into one of the most serious times of our nation’s history coming up
in the next 14 months leading up to this next presidential election, I solemnly
beseech those who read these journals and our website to make sure your lamps
are TRIMMED and BURNING without a shadow of a doubt. The bridegroom is a coming;
don’t let your light go out. The Pentecostal message used to be on the wrong
side of the tracks; many today STILL look on those who speak in tongues and
operate in prophetic gifts as unlearned, fanatics, ignorant, poverty stricken,
and uneducated. Friend, hear this writer. The ones they lampoon and mock right
now, including many mockers within the church system itself, are going to come
looking for those tongue-talkers soon when this nation experiences what I
believe the Lord has shown me is ahead for our land if we don’t repent. The
LIGHT must SHINE FIRST in the church before it shines to the nation. WE are the
light of the world, reflecting the LIGHT of Christ to lost and dying nation,
sinking daily in a deeper abyss of sin, selfishness, darkness, depravity,
homosexuality, abortion and greed. Is your light burning brightly today? Have
you been baptized in the HOLY GHOST with the evidence of speaking with other
tongues as the SPIRIT of God gives the utterance? I pray you have today in Jesus
name. The time is getting short, the hour is late and there is seriousness to
this hour we live in. The only hope is to restore the LIGHT of the Golden
Lampstand, among which the LORD walks and judges the reigns of our hearts today.
