The Unclean Spirit Of Homosexuality
The bane of homosexuality is one of the more grievous sins in the sight of God. To be sure, God's wrath has been revealed from heaven against ALL unrighteousness without question but the "recompense" of certain sins is greater than others as should be obvious. The Holy Spirit through Paul says because men rejected the truth, God gave them up to "uncleanness THROUGH THE LUSTS of their own hearts," to dishonor their own bodies between themselves. Homosexuality is in essence rooted in LUST that changes the truth of God into a lie, brings on "vile affections," and causes men and women both to do those things that "seem unseemly," which in turn brings consequences, or as the Apostle put it, 'that recompense of their error which was meet.' There is only one hope for the homosexual, whom God does truly love but DEMANDS that individual REPENT of this horrendous sin as He commands ALL men everywhere to REPENT, and that hope is the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, applied by faith through the power of the Holy Ghost. There is no other answer to scourge of homosexuality. The church has lost its conscience when dealing with this sin in society giving heed to the same seducing spirits that have led many astray today; when any church allows those in leadership to practice homosexuality without repentance and remain in leadership that church has become apostate! Some "hide" their condition from those in leadership but the LORD knows those who are his and commands ALL to depart from iniquity.

Spirit Journals has been online now for 9 years and I cannot remember one journal that we have written concerning the subject we feel constrained by the Lord to deal with today. I wrote this journal in a matter of three hours into the wee hours of the morning a few days ago after reading an article by the President of one of the leading Southern Baptist seminaries in America who is now theorizing that there is evidence of a "biological" reason for homosexuality. To be frank this article, which we will address in detail in part one of this series, grieved me deeply all day after I read it; later that night the Holy Spirit literally squeezed my heart in two and said, "I want you to deal with this publicly," and do not flinch in that which you speak and gave me a promise from the prophet Ezekiel.
Ezekiel 3:7-8 - But the house of Israel will not hearken unto thee; for they will not hearken unto me: for all the house of Israel are impudent and hardhearted. Behold, I have made thy face strong against their faces, and thy forehead strong against their foreheads.
We have deliberately not addressed ourselves directly to the issue of homosexuality in the past since Spirit Journals has been online even through we have always declared homosexuality as sin while also declaring HOPE for the homosexual through repentance and faith in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Most who have addressed themselves directly to this have either done so in a self-righteous, legalistic way as to in many ways hurt the cause of Christ more by their arrogance and rank meanness to the homosexual instead of addressing the SIN and pointing men to God's love and power - the only answer for deliverance found FROM this bane that is close to destroying the nation of America. Then there are those who have taken a totally different approach, appeasing homosexuals and their claims this is all just "biology," and "heredity," instead of labeling the lifestyle as the Bible states it is - "an abomination," and a "perversion." The one bound by homosexuality is not outside God's love by any stretch of the imagination but God's love does NOT CONDONE sin and allow the one bound by this horrible bondage to stay the way they are without repentance! The wages of Sin is death, but the GIFT of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus
Christ our Lord.
Yes, we ALL have come short of the glory of God; We all have areas of our life that the Holy Spirit continues to work on and will continue to work on until Jesus comes. Sin is sin, whether it's lying, cheating, not paying your bills, fornication, drinking, or whatever other vice one may be involved in. There are no little sins and big sins in God's sight - ALL sin is grievous and God HATES all sin!
One may ask, well where does that put the sinner then, does God hate him too?? It may sound like an oxy moron but God loves the entire world but His wrath abides on the one who refuses to repent and wishes to stay in his wickedness; it is God's LOVE that sent Christ to the cross so SIN may be destroyed! It was God's hatred of sin that was poured out on Jesus that His anger would not poured out on those who believe. HOWEVER, if one refuses to repent and believe in Christ, there is no covering for that individual and the wrath of God abides on them! God's love will continue to draw that individual as long as they are living here on this earth through a variety of means but God will not force any man to choose righteousness and forsake sin - that is man's part. Some have so hardened their heart at the present that it would take a tremendous miracle for them to believe. This writer believes one can reach a place they don't ever want to come to God; it's not God's will that happens but it's man rejection and obstinent refusal to accept God's love that damns man's soul to an eternal hell and separation from His Creator.
Ps 11:5- The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loves
violence his soul hateth.
John 3:33-36
He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true. [34]
For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God gives not the
Spirit by measure unto him. [35] The Father loves the Son, and hath given all
things into his hand. [36] He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life:
and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God
abides on him.
John 3:20
20 For every one that doeth evil hates the light, neither cometh to the light,
lest his deeds should be reproved.
Ps 7:11 - God judges the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.
The Psalmist declares, God "tries the righteous," but the "wicked and him that loves violence his (God's) soul hates," meaning that those who are the Lord's will always find His loving chastisement upon their life if they sin. Those who are wicked and don't know Christ and have their faith anchored in His Cross will not find chastisement but instead be under God's wrath and hatred (of their sin). In another Psalm the Holy Spirit states, "God is angry with the wicked everyday," but He "judges the RIGHTEOUS." Those of the light embrace the judgment of God as a restorative, healing process to keep us on the path of light; those who hate the light are those who really want to stay in their sin while still seeking to enjoy fellowship with God; we can't have it both ways. Those who HATE the light will never COME to the LIGHT, "lest his deeds be reproved" and in doing so will incur all that which belongs to darkness - bondage, addiction, death, hurt, guilt, condemnation, pain, suffering, misery and the like. God's way is the way to PEACE, joy and contentment in Christ Jesus.
Yes, sin is sin, but some sins carry more grievous results if one partakes of such. Fornication and homosexuality are two such sins.
1 Cor. 6: 18-20 - Flee fornication. Every sin that
a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth
against his own body. [19] What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the
Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? [20]
For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your
spirit, which are God's.
The Holy Spirit says, "flee fornication," because every sin that man does is
done "without the body," but he that commits fornication SINS against his own
body. It's clear this sin carries deeper
consequences that one just saying a curse word in a fit of anger or having
jealousy or envy in their heart.
This is the most dangerous hour for the church of the Living God since the time of the Reformation; as such it is also the greatest time of opportunity for the true church to shine and reflect the glorious gospel of the LIGHT of Jesus Christ as we face the onslaught of the powers of darkness like never before. Isaiah said that in the last days, "gross darkness," would cover but the earth, BUT the glorious light of Jesus would "arise," upon those living in such times of darkness. I can think of no other time as the time we live in at the present.
Isaiah
60:1-3
Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon
thee. [2] For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness
the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon
thee. [3] And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness
of thy rising.
This principle has also never been seen more than in the current flood and tide of homosexuality that has not just smothered America's culture, but has taken root and a foot hold in an ever growing number of churches across this great land. There is a growing anger and resentment against those who speak the truth. Movies can blaspheme God, mock Jesus, blaspheme the Holy Spirit, make fun of born again believers and the world applauds and pays good money to see them. If a U.S. Army general gets up and says truthfully, "homosexual is immoral (and he listed adultery along with that)," he is asked for his head on a platter by the same world system. It is hard to find ANYTHING on television right now - be it a reality show, a movie, a sitcom or any other production from Hollywood that does not have either a gay character or a gay theme. Nothing is off limits when it comes to promoting homosexuality. Gay Pride parades mark the landscape coast to coast and those who protest such are labeled as "hate-mongers," and all other sorts of vile names. "I'm gay and I'm proud of it," I heard one such participant proclaim over Fox News the other night. I wanted to reach through the television and lay my hands on this individual and rebuke that perverse spirit coming from his mouth. I did lay my hands on the TV Screen and pray for this individual.
I write this journal today with a tremendously burdened and troubled heart but write it we feel we must on this most serious sin of homosexuality and its consequences that face not only our nation and world, but the church as well. The Bible calls this sin an "abomination," but it eternally offers FREEDOM from this sin THROUGH repentance and faith in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ and through the power of the Holy Ghost. Many claim they have sought freedom from this sin but they have refused to repent. One lady told a dear friend of mine recently that "God loves everybody just the way they are so I feel I can remain a lesbian and still be under His love and He won't hold this against me in eternity." My friend told her what I would have told her - "God's love does not give you the right to remain in that lifestyle and keep on sinning; God's love contains the POWER for you to be free but you have to CHOOSE to be free from your heart, not just from your mouth." I heard one preacher say many years back that "God does love you the way you are, but He loves you TOO much to let you stay that way!"
I pray the Holy Spirit will help us openly discuss without fear today what the Bible says about homosexuality and warn those involved in its practice as to what will be their end unless they repent. Before we get into this journal, which will be an ongoing series of journals on this subject in the coming weeks, I want to first share a prophetic word from Wendy Alec, author of a powerful book called, "Journal of the Unknown Prophet," who penned a riveting prophetic word to those bound by the sin of homosexuality. I also in this journal want to address myself to comments made just days ago by Rev. Albert Mohler, President of the Southern Baptist Convention's Seminary in Louisville, Ky., who in a speech made the very argument homosexuals have been making for years that their sin is something they're "born with," and that if the problem is "biology," then the SBC supports "treatment," to change the orientation of the baby within a mother's womb to change that child's bent from one of homosexuality to heterosexuality. In all that Mr. Mohler said he never once mentioned the deliverance one finds in Christ and the Holy Ghost and refused to declare the need for the homosexual to REPENT before hoping to find freedom from this bondage!
First, here is Wendy's prophetic word she received from the Lord that I feel summarizes His heart in a real and tangible way to those who are bound:
"Beloved, do you not know? Do you not see? As you seek to find love it is really ME you are looking for. And, O, beloved, I tell you that although My Church has upheld the principles of Scripture, so they often have not done with a true reflection of My heart and of my Grace. And I would say to you this day - I stand before you with My arms outstretched, not in judgment, but in mercy, beloved son, beloved daughter, I stand before you at this moment, not in condemnation, but with mercy and with a love that would relentlessly pursue you. For I was there at the first abuse of your body. I was there when you were mocked and rejected by your peers and a searing came to your sensitive heart - to that same heart that I ordained to love and to reach out and to worship ME. As as the father of LIES whispered to your heart, "You are not like other men, you are not like other women, you do not fit.... you embraced the LIES. You indeed drew to yourself others ensnared and battling the same, and so the lie took root and lifestyle was born, not at your birth, but at the time you listened to the lies of the enemy and not the whisper of My voice.
For I know the breaches in your soul, I was there when your heart was scarred and bruised where others did not understand. Surely I am He who sees and who knows. for was I not the recipient of rejections and misunderstandings? Was I not He who was despised and rejected by men? O my Son, o, my daughter, forgive my Church. Forgive those who have judged YOU who follow Me. For surely, though they know my Word, they hearken not to the breath of My Spirit. For My voice is quiet, full of tenderness, full of mercy and full of LIFE to bring you out of your darkness into My glorious Light.
And as you seek fulfillment of both the flesh and the soul, I would reach out and embrace you and draw you to Myself. And as I would embrace you, I weep for you. I weep for you, and there is no refrain from My tears. For as you transgress the eternal law set in motion by My Father Himself, I weep as I see you bring that which cannot be revoked down upon yourself. For the consequence of breaking the eternal law cannot be revoked. And my judgment upon you is My mercy. Take heed, beloved, take heed and hear My voice.
O, beloved, do you think I do not know, that I cannot see, that you seek the salve of the human heart, but is only to be found in ME. In no other upon Heaven and Earth shall you find the rest for your aching soul."
I appreciate Wendy Alec's insight and believe she truly heard from the heart of
Jesus concerning the millions this sin has destroyed already and continues to destroy who refuse to
acknowledge it as such and repent. We want to
make it clear that we do not seek to just uphold Scripture in this journal,
which we will do, but we also want to convey the love of the Father to
those bound and controlled by the spirit and the sin of homosexuality. We don't
believe homosexuality is a biological, psychological, emotional, hereditable, or
family matter - it is a SPIRITUAL matter and the church needs to stop addressing
it as a psychological one! Those controlled by its power are under the control
of demon SPIRITS who seek to "steal, to kill and to destroy," that which God has
created in HIS IMAGE. It is clear from this
prophetic word from the Lord that men CHOOSE to enter into this lifestyle
because of the "lies," of the enemy, not because they are born this way or have
some heredity gene that causes them to wake up one morning and say "I'm
homosexual."
It is also clear from this prophetic word that if those who seek this lifestyle continue in "breaking the eternal law," of the Father, which is the law of union between a man and a woman, not between man and man or woman and woman, these individuals are bringing consequences "that cannot be revoked" upon themselves. It's clear this consequence for millions has been the deadly killer of AIDS. Let the reader be clear, God does "kill" homosexuals, or take pleasure in their sufferings and their death. There is NEVER any joy in heaven over the death of the wicked, no matter how perverse a spirit that individual is controlled by. The Holy Spirit however, says through the Apostle Paul in Romans that man's own rebellion and sin has brought a "just recompense of reward," on himself, not because God has willed it so. God is not to blame for AIDS, man's wickedness is and the enemy of man's soul who seeks to steal, kill and to destroy. Sin has consequences and nothing liberal backslidden preachers say in trying to distort that truth will change that.

We have lost the fear of God in American society and in the American church; as a result have been turned over to a reprobate spirit that is destroying the foundation of every institution that under girds all that stands between order and utter chaos and debauchery. The Holy Spirit says we "know the judgment of God," concerning they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, "but have pleasure in them that do them." It's not men just sin, they enjoy what they do and do it without conscience or an idea they ever want to stop.
If one notices this passage in Romans, the Holy Spirit mentions several other sins that come from a heart of apostasy and a reprobate mind:

Maliciousness
Full of Envy
Murder
Debate
Deceit
Malignity
Whisperers
Backbiters
Haters of God
Despiteful
Proud
Disobedient to Parents
Without understanding
Covenant Breakers
Without Natural Affection
Implacable
Unmerciful
I list those to show the reader that ALL sin is horrible in the sight of God without debate or doubt. However, to state again something we've already said, there are some sins that bring on a greater "consequence," or "recompense," when they are committed; homosexuality is such a sin. The Holy Spirit makes it clear that when women and men change the natural use of the opposite sex when it comes to sexual relations, they will receive the result of their "error," which was "meet." It does not take a Bible scholar to see that the deadly killer of AIDS has been such a result for those involved in homosexual relations. No, not every one who suffers from AIDS is homosexual but the facts bear it out that over half of all AIDS cases are tied DIRECTLY into sex acts between men and other men and sexual immorality between women with multiple sex partners, many of which probably have the AIDS virus. Since AIDS was first discovered in 1981 nearly 25 million people have died, according to figures in late 2006. Figures from the Centers of Disease Control, which in some cases is run by some of the most liberal of leaders in the nation, tell a horrible tale that confirms that when the Bible warns men to not to indulge in such practices without expecting serious consequences it means what it says!
According to CDC's website, people living with HIV/AIDS in 2006 totaled 39.5 million; Out of this figure, adults living with HIV/AIDS in 2006 was 37.2 million; Women living with HIV/AIDS in 2006 was 17.7 million; Children living with HIV/AIDS in 2006 was 2.3 million.
New AIDS cases just last year alone (2006) totaled 4.3 million worldwide, of which 3.8 million were adults; .53 million were children. Nearly 2.9 million people died worldwide from AIDS last year, of which 2.6 million were adult and .038 million were children.
Sin's consequences go way beyond the
transgressor himself; it affects ALL those around the individual who has this
disease - which affects the BLOOD. Sin, like AIDS, affects the BLOOD and that is
why it takes SUPERNATURAL blood to stop the spread of this deadly killer! That
supernatural blood was shed 2,000 years ago on a bloody cross as Jesus hung
between heaven and earth and cried "It is Finished!"
AIDS figures that show that the continent of Africa alone has 12 million AIDS orphans, which are children whose parents died of AIDS. This sin does not just affect you sir or you madam - it affects your children and grandchildren. Most who participate in this vile act never see beyond the selfish fleshly gratification of the moment to see such.
At the end of 2006, women accounted for 48% of all adults
living with HIV worldwide, and for 59% in sub-Saharan Africa. Young people
(under 25 years old) account for half of all new HIV infections worldwide -
around 6,000 become infected with HIV every day. In developing and transitional
countries, 6.8 million people are in immediate need of life-saving AIDS drugs;
of these, only 1.65 million are receiving the drugs.
When man rejects God's word, death always occurs friend. I say those words with compassion and understanding but realizing that much of the problem with homosexual community, even those bound with this sin who attend large churches across this land, is the refusal of those bound by this sin to admit the act of sodomy and all other perversions related to this damnable nature is wicked in the sight of God. Many who are bound argue against the truth of God's word, something the Apostle Paul called the "suppression of the truth," which characterizes the homosexual condition! There are many common lies used to support or justify homosexual behavior among those who participate in such.
The truth from the scriptures exposes and refutes these lies that are keeping people in bondage to sin (John 8:31-36).
John 8:31-36
Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word,
then are ye my disciples indeed; [32] And ye shall know the truth, and the truth
shall make you free. [33] They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and
were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free? [34]
Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is
the servant of sin. [35] And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but
the Son abides ever. [36] If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be
free indeed.
Some of the most common "lies," the enemy whispers to those ensnared by this
bondage include the following:
If you respond to homosexual stimulation, you are gay.
Homosexuality is an inherited orientation / "I was born gay"
God hates homosexuals
Jesus didn’t say anything about homosexuality, so it proves that its ok
Homosexuality is ok as long as the two partners are faithful in a monogamous relationship
God doesn’t care what I do with my body
If you’re gay, there’s no way to truly be changed to a heterosexual
I can live out my gay fantasies on earth and God will forgive me when I get to heaven.
Homosexuality was rare in Bible times and the Bible’s authors didn’t understand it
Homosexuality is not a sin, but rather a gift and blessing from God
Gay marriage will help gay couples finally gain the peace they’ve been searching for.
Gay sexual acts are just as healthy as heterosexual acts.
The Bible has no examples of people who were healed of homosexuality.
Gay sex is better than heterosexual sex
I can have peace with God without giving up gay sex acts.
Sexuality is a curse.
Gay acts are permissible when they are done within a loving relationship.
Homosexuality was forbidden under Old Testament Law, just as was eating shellfish and pork. Since Jesus did away with the Law, homosexuality is now OK with God.
The Ten Commandments don’t address homosexuality, so this proves that it is permissible.
David and Jonathan had a homosexual affair.
Love did away with the laws of Moses. As long as I’m living and acting in love (i.e. gay love), I’m going to heaven.
Anti-Gay theology is based on hate and conflicts with God’s command for Christians to love each other
We plan to deal with each one of these in coming journals, but It is at this point in this initial journal that I want to turn my attention to a recent article we list below that was reported by the Associated Press 3-15-07 concerning comments made by the Current President of the Southern Baptist Convention's leading seminary in Louisville, Ky., the Rev. R. Albert Mohler Jr. Mr. Mohler claims that there is now proof for a "biological" basis for homosexuality and that if a cure can be found to treat a fetus in a woman's womb, he feels it would be biblically justified. By claiming such stupidity, he is basically repudiating the fact homosexuality is a SIN and CHOICE and confirming the lie that homosexuals have claimed for years that all of their sinful tendencies is tied to their heredity and parents, not their own sin nature.
Before I get to the article I want to make some statements that I'm 100% positive won't endear me to those in the Southern Baptist denomination but I feel have a lot of relevance to the statements made by Mohler. Whenever a denomination rejects LIGHT, darkness always comes in its place.
When I first read this article out loud to my wife I sought very hard not to be judgmental on Rev. Mohler or his statements and tried left and right to understand where this man was coming from. I also felt that had this come from a left-leaning liberal think tank type I probably would have laughed it off as the ignorant rantings of someone who as Paul described was "without understanding," of those things of God and issues pertaining to the sin of homosexuality. This was not from such a person, but in fact was from the President of one of the nation's leading Southern Baptist Seminary's!!
Since the fall of 2006 when news started trickling out
of the Southern Baptist's anti-stance regarding missionaries praying in tongues
a year earlier in November, 2005,
I have felt very grieved at the unbelief exhibited by the leadership of this
once fundamental Bible-based group. (The
SBC Statement To Their Missionaries Concerning Tongues;

Letter From A SBC Leader Regarding This Decision) Several articles, which
one find by going to Google and just doing some simple research, show the recent antagonism to the things of the Spirit by this group which
acts so self-righteous and Pharisaical at times to other groups that don't see
eye to eye with their theology while doing everything possible to discredit the
mighty baptism in the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking with other
tongues. If I was a SBC missionary who spoke in tongues in my private prayer
time and I got the memo linked above, I'd be leaving the SBC and telling them
"we think it better to obey God than man!"
Yes, most Southern Baptist churches preach a message of salvation but
that number is decreasing by the moment with the advent and flood of the Purpose
Driven Life, which has replaced the Bible in most ministries and churches.
More concerning is the growing theme in this denomination's unbelieving theology that denies everything supernatural and tries to circumvent the power of the Holy Ghost for damnable psychology and counseling while embracing man-made fads and promoting secular humanism instead of the Word of God!
Six months after the directive we linked above, the Southern Baptist Convention was rocked with what has now exploded into a growing scandal concerning child molestation among its clergy and the SBC's concentrated effort to hide it and cover it up, including an incident at Bellevue Baptist in Memphis, one of the SBC's largest churches nationwide. This situation is the tip of the ice-berg perhaps or may just be just a few isolated incidents, we'll have to see. There are several documented cases within the past 18 months that shows this is not an isolated issue but one about to engulf the Baptist denomination like it did the Catholics a few years back.
Having been part of this denomination at one point in my life as a teen, I want to say that there are a great number of good and Godly people within the Baptist church. Our issues are not with the people of this movement but the leadership who have consciously made decisions over many years to push the power of God out of their church structure and replace it with humanism.
I know there are many truly born again Christians within this group who are just as grieved as I am about what is taking place before them. As one who left the Baptist church in 1987 after receiving the mighty baptism in the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking with other tongues, I may never see eye to eye with the Baptists on the issues surrounding tongues, but my roots go back to this denomination and it bothers me that what used to be a group that cared about evangelism has now been carried away into apostasy because of its continued and blatant rejection of operation and ministry of the Holy Ghost! As a result much of its leadership has become very self-righteous and Pharisaical to say the least.
I remember through the years how hard many Baptist leaders AND laity were on the Catholics when it came to their problems with this issue of child molestation - WHICH HAS OPEN TIES TO HOMOSEXUALITY - and Rome's refusal to open its eyes to the blatant homosexuality of its priests, clergy, song-leaders and church officials. That same spirit however has now come to the Baptist church almost in judgment for their judgment of the Catholics.
I was selling church directory portraits in early 2006 in Atlanta where I was told by a church leader in one of the city's larger Methodist churches that both the music director and his partner, the church's piano player, were both homosexual. Her comment to me was "well we're a 'progressive,' church you know - just coming into agreement with the times we live." And while this was not a Baptist church, the attitude is the same across the board - Baptist, Pentecostal, Charismatic, Lutheran, Episcopalian and Methodist.
No ma'am your church is not "progressive," even though
you're right about one thing - you're church is truly coming into agreement with
the "darkness," of the times we live. Your church is LOST and full of the devil
and if the pastor is allowing such to go on without check and removing these men
IMMEDIATELY from leadership he needs to get saved along with the music director
AND his partner. And ANY denomination that allows homosexuals to practice
their ungodly lifestyle without repentance and still hold office in the church -
it is full of the devil, it's not of God, it has been blinded by the enemy, and
the leadership needs to repent before greater judgment falls upon that
movement!! How STUPID can we get in the modern church by electing gay
officials to lead people and not expect to have the results of such folly take
place such as molestation, sodomy, rape and all other perversion that comes along with this
damnable SIN????????
Jesus warned us not to judge through carnal eyes but to judge "righteous judgment," meaning to judge all things through the CROSS and not through our self-righteous spiritual bigotry. What we say is not because of homophobia or any personal issues with those who are bound by this sin. We are decrying the church's blindness to the situation at hand which is about to destroy the foundations of every thing we hold dear. We cannot expect to keep going this path we're traveling as both a nation and the church without a response from God soon; we just can't. Billy Graham said many years ago, if God does not judge America for this sin, then he will have to bring Sodom and Gomorrah back and apologize. God, my friend, does not need nor ever will need to apologize to sinful man.

The Baptists have been so busy over the last few years trying to remove the mote out of the eyes of the Pentecostal world and the Catholics it forgot to take the BEAM out of it's own eye! Get angry at Chris McDonald if you like. Get angry, click the "x" at the top of this article if you like; Mock and make fun of this writer; write your snotty emails which some already have recently; but I'm telling the reader this without hesitation and without fear - when ANY movement, regardless of the name it goes by - Baptist, assembly of God, church of God, Methodist or Presbyterian, RESISTS and REJECTS the moving and operation of the HOLY SPIRIT, that movement is rejecting LIGHT and when LIGHT is rejected, darkness always results!
John 8:12

I don't say those things out of anger or malice but out of a grieved heart to see how a damnable system of apostate religion has taken foot hold in a once proud denomination and blinded the eyes of its leaders to the point they are rapidly no longer seeing the evil of homosexuality while at the same time fighting the very power of God through the work of the Holy Spirit that ALONE can set the captive free bound by the sin of homosexuality! If the "light," that is in a denomination be "darkness," then HOW GREAT IS THAT DARKNESS!!!
That means that if the SPIRIT of man is in DEVOTION to God, meaning not divided between God and man-made theology and doctrinal statements, then all the soul will be full of LIGHT. If the spirit be evil, the entirety of the soul then will be full of darkness, meaning if the light we're given is not acted on and believed, but rather perverted, then the latter state of that individual OR denomination is WORSE than if there had been no light at all!
If the word of God says homosexuality is a SIN, then we'd be wise to embrace the light of the WORD OF GOD and not look to a secular magazine full of darkness to get our inspiration to make claims that there is now "biological" evidence one is born into homosexuality. That is the theory of the President of the SBC's largest theological seminary. Read the article below, which we will address in detail afterwards:
What Mohler did as a leader of the SBC, was basically tell the homosexual community that what they've been claiming as a truth, which is really a lie from hell, is ok in the eyes of the SBC. Mohler "suggesting that a biological basis for homosexuality may be proven, and that prenatal treatment to reverse gay orientation would be biblically justified," is as great an absurdity I think I've ever heard come out of the mouth of any preacher, but especially one who is supposed to be the dean of a fundamental Bible-believing college. Have we gone totally spiritually insane? There is NO biological basis for homosexuality friend even though it is one of the leading "lies," promoted by Satan through the mouths of Gay-Rights groups and leaders among the homosexual community and many growing voices in the CHURCH. This journal is dealing with issues outside the church right now but we plan a follow up journal on how this spirit has invaded Christendom and how the spirit of sodomy is being protected by hirelings behind pulpits and those in leadership who have sold their souls to the devil for the almighty dollar and turned a blind eye to blatant sin; in doing so they brought the wrath of God upon their churches, lives and movements.
The fact is there is no conclusive scientific evidence for any genetic trait causing homosexuality, bisexuality, or transgendered desires. The Bible says that man was born with a sin NATURE from which comes ACTS of sin, and as a SINNER man needs a redeemer! I don't think Mohler meant this but if we are to believe his assertion that if such a basis was found to be true and man somehow found a treatment to "reverse," gay orientation, then we are to assume that Mr. Mohler thinks that God, who is the creator of all life in the womb of woman, makes some people normal and others gay. I am going to give Mr. Mohler the benefit of the doubt on this one because that is blasphemous to even consider, but in reality that is what one would have to believe to adhere to this stupidity he is suggesting.
Another part of the article stated that Mohler advised his Christian readership that they should brace for the possibility that a biological basis for homosexuality may be proven, while then stating that such proof would not alter the Bible's condemnation of homosexuality, but said the discovery would be "of great pastoral significance, allowing for a greater understanding of why certain persons struggle with these particular sexual temptations."
MEMO TO MR. MOHLER - we call the reason why certain people struggle with these particular sexual temptations, "SIN," "UNRIGHTEOUSNESS," and "DISOBEDIENCE." It's not biology, heredity, environment or education as why people STRUGGLE with particular sexual temptations. The THIEF comes to "steal, kill and to destroy," but Jesus Christ came that we might have LIFE and have it more abundantly. MEMO TWO to AL: Your entire article sought to claim there was evidence of this damnable lie without ONE TIME mentioning the power of the Risen Christ to set the captive free and destroy the bondages and darkness of homosexuality.
But because your denomination has abandoned the preaching of the Cross and the power of the Holy Ghost, it would make sense to this writer that you put your faith into some unproven fact to basically agree with an age old lie the homosexual community has believed for years that they are "born this way."
The other seriously troubling part of this is Mr. Mohler's article itself entitled, " "Is Your Baby Gay? What If You Could Know? What If You Could Do Something About It?" which was posted on Mohler's personal website; it also troubles this writer to read where it seems he got his "inspiration," from to come up with ludicrous idea in the first place:
"He also referred to a recent article in the pop-culture magazine Radar, which explored the possibility that sexual orientation could be detected in unborn babies and raised the question of whether parents - even liberals who support gay rights - might be open to trying future prenatal techniques that would reverse homosexuality. "
Since when do we inquire at the pop-culture magazine "Radar," to get insight on the wickedness of man and come up with a spiritual solution to solve man's problem and cure him of his bondage???? The very question raised in this article/magazine is what Mohler raised in HIS article. Then in a even more bizarre turn of events, Mohler said in the same article he would strongly oppose any move to encourage abortion or genetic manipulation of fetuses on grounds of sexual orientation, but he would endorse prenatal hormonal treatment - if such a technology were developed - to reverse homosexuality. He said this would no different, in moral terms, to using technology that would restore vision to a blind fetus. "I realize this sounds very offensive to homosexuals, but it's the only way a Christian can look at it," Mohler said. "We should have no more problem with that than treating any medical problem."
Mr. Mohler, I disagree STRONGLY sir that the problem of homosexuality is some "MEDICAL" problem; it is NOT - It is a SPIRITUAL problem and one that can only dealt with through spiritual means. It is NOT the same as treating a blind fetus, for a child born blind is under the same curse of SIN as any other child born into this world. There are no "born" homosexuals, there are only those who LISTEN to the lies of the devil and embrace a lifestyle that is contrary to the word of God rooted in LUST and functioning in a damnable way that results in DEATH - both physical and SPIRITUAL. That is not hate speech friend, that is the greatest love speech one can receive - the love of the TRUTH.
The Holy Spirit warns us that in the last days that men will reject the "love of the truth," and for such cause God will turn them over to strong delusion that men will believe a LIE and be damned forever. And when the church starts preaching the lie it becomes even grosser error and sickening!
2 Thes. 2:10-14 - And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. [11] And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: [12] That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. What is the love of the truth? The love of the truth is the message that Homosexuality is a bondage, a SIN, and a perversion that only the power of the BLOOD OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST can set the homosexual free from and transform them into a new creation by the power of the HOLY GHOST. Homosexual, I love you the person. God loves YOU, the person, but He hates the sin you cling to with anger that words cannot express; He loved you so much that 2,000 years ago He sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to die on a bloody cross, shed His life's blood, hang between heaven and earth, shake the powers of hell itself with the cry "IT IS FINISHED," signifying the end of Satan's dominion of man - at least to all those who come to Christ in FAITH. But if you reject this love and continue to embrace and live in the sin without repentance, WHICH IS THE KEY TO ALL DELIVERANCE!!!!, you will feel the wrath of God upon the sin as an individual in a place called hell. I don't care how much your church claims you can be "Christian," and be "gay," your church is full of liars and does not have the truth abiding with them.
The Devil is a LIAR and deceives the entire world into believing that which damns men's souls to hell without mercy and without remedy. It's not God's will that ANY perish but that ALL come to repentance; sadly most will not but blame their bondage on a myriad of things including this fallacy being promoted in this article full of gross spiritual stupidity at best but even worse coming from a so-called evangelical college that claims to be teaching young men and women who will one day stand behind pulpits and lead thousands in churches all over the world.

IF THE BLIND LEAD THE BLIND they BOTH fall into the ditch. Even the sinners read the article and saw the error in it, except one man of course, who is a New York City psychiatrist critical of those who consider homosexuality a disorder, and commended Mohler's openness to the prospect that it is biologically based. <"This represents a major shift," Drescher said. I guess if this psychiatrist comes to Spirit Journals he will find MUCH to be critical of then! His statement about Mohler's theory is the bane of the modern church. We've become so "opened minded," our hearts have become darkened and when this demonic theology is in conflict with God's Word, we have chosen to play the fool and embrace that which is of Satan claiming it is of God, calling good "evil," and evil, "good," putting darkness for light and light for darkness. Isaiah had nothing to say this kind of attitude but "WOE"!
Romans 1:18-22
For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and

Homosexual desires are examples of the sin nature that
all are born with because of Adam's fall - NO EXCEPTIONS.

Romans 3:23
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Yes, gay temptations may be very strong, but that does not exempt us from God's
law and demands concerning repentance and faith in Christ. These temptations in
reality come from the same root of LUST, or concupiscence, which means
"evil wicked desires." That is what takes place for any individual whose faith
is not rooted in the Cross of Christ!
God gives us the responsibility AND POWER to not just resist our sinful desires, but He has provided the means of victory to where these desires will no longer RULE over us!! (Genesis 4:6-7, Romans 6:11-14). He gives us power and healing through the Holy Spirit so we can live as truly changed people, and not just pretend to be so (Romans 8:11-13, 2 Corinthians 5:17). He can take the HOMOSEXUAL DESIRE AWAY just as He can take ANY wicked desire away as long as we are clinging in FAITH to the Cross of Christ!!! If we remove our faith in Christ and the Cross then we will always be drawn into this sordid lifestyle without hope of victory. It doesn't mean we won't be tempted, it means when we ARE tempted, the PULL to do evil will no longer "burn" inside of us as a desire!!
Romans 7:6-17
But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held;
that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.
[7] What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known
sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou

Claiming people are born gay is attempting to justify sin and uses a rationale where people such as liars, hypocrites, thieves, child molesters and cannibals could also claim they "were born that way" and then blame God at the Great White Throne Judgment for their deeds. Man is always looking for a way to absolve himself of all responsibility to REPENT and live HOLY before the Lord; psychology is a great tool of Satan that does just that- seeks to find someone or some THING else to blame other than point man within to look at his own wicked heart and cry out to God for deliverance through repentance, faith and the power of the HOLY GHOST.
Romans 6:11-14

mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. [13] Neither yield ye

are not under the law, but under grace.
Genesis 4:6-7
And the Lord said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance
fallen? [7] If thou doest well, shall thou not be accepted? and if thou doest
not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou
shall rule over him.
Romans 8:11-13
But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he
that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his
Spirit that dwelleth in you. [12] Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not
to the flesh, to live after the flesh. [13] For if ye live after the flesh, ye
shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye
shall live.
2 Cor. 5:17
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed
away; behold, all things are become new.
We are not called as believers to "live after the flesh," for if we do WE
SHALL DIE. That is as plain a warning and promise as it can get. I don't need a
Greek Lexicon Dictionary to understand the meaning and ramifications of that verse. We must THROUGH the
power of the HOLY GHOST MORTIFY, the deeds of the body, which will always have a
bent to do things contrary to the nature of God and in some cases, if not all at
times, do PERVERTED things such a the acts related to homosexuality. If someone
is in CHRIST, they are a NEW creature, OLD things are passed away, ALL things
have become new. You want to argue you're a practicing homosexual and a
Christian I say argue away. You are either one or the other but you are not
BOTH. Those who are CHRIST'S have CRUCIFIED the lusts related to the old nature
and are living in the POWER of the RISEN CHRIST, the power of the Holy Ghost.
Galatians 5:24
And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and
lusts.
That don't sound a like a medical problem to me that can be fixed with some drug that changes the sexual orientation of a fetus in a woman's womb. Sin shall NOT have dominion over you for we are not under law, but under GRACE! Grace is the ENABLING power of the HOLY GHOST that the Lord gives us to live a holy, dedicated life before Him, free of sin's dominion, even though at times we will fall because we but flesh. Sin not having dominion doesn't mean perfection but it does mean a heart that is constantly seeking ways to please God and keep pure before Him. If we DO sin, those who are truly saved will be so convicted they will deal with the sin quickly upon the Spirit's convicting touch and REPENT.
Call this hate speech if you want. What I've written I've written and at this late hour as I pen these words at night my heart breaks knowing that millions have went off into eternity without God thinking they are saved because they've been told a lie from not just the enemy, but from so-called men of God who are being used as useful pawns of Satan to become his very mouthpiece and speak the same lies! My heart breaks knowing many who are bound these damnable lie and deception thinking they are going to heaven in this state when in reality if they die without repenting they will wind up in a devil's hell. My heart breaks watching this spirit engulf the church as wolves engulf sheep and there is no prophetic voice in the house of the Lord declaring our "sin as Sodom," and removing the abominable practices of the heathen from among us. No, that doesn't mean we shut our doors or hearts of compassion to those battling this horrible sin, but we require repentance and a renouncing of this lifestyle before we allow those in homosexuality to preach, teach, sing or operate in ANY leadership capacity whatsoever. These souls need the gospel preached to them so they can be saved and set free by the power of the Holy Ghost! We are to love them as people and in tender kindness speak to them of Jesus, but we cannot deviate from the truth of God's Word and allow this cancerous sin to destroy the foundations of the Body of Christ.
What part of that is so hard to understand??? I'm afraid that is Paul referred to in Romans when he stated men under the grip of apostasy will be men "without understanding." The apostate church in these last days looks at evil and does not call it evil but embraces as light when in fact its fruit is darkness and hell!
Romans 1:30-32
Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil
things, disobedient to parents, [31] Without understanding, covenant
breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: [32] Who knowing
the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not
only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
Some demonically inspired individuals claim that "God hates homosexuals," and in essence place themselves under the same wrath and judgment of God as any unbeliever. The true believer understand that God loves every person (John 3:16) and has made them in his image and likeness (Genesis 1:26-27).

If we claim we "love God," then spew out hate to people we despise in a self-righteous manner, we are LIARS and the truth is not in us. Are you listening to that those of you who walk with around signs saying "God hates queers," at funerals of fallen soldiers and those who have died from AIDS?; these sign carrying sinners also put other vulgarities we won't care to repeat on this website. You're the one under God's ANGER and you need to repent as bad as the one bound by homosexuality! Let me be a little bit more blunt - you need to get saved; but until you get saved, stop carrying around your sign and Bible acting like you're speaking for God; you're nothing but a mouthpiece of Satan to spread yet another lie that many homosexuals believe!
What God hates is the sin that corrupts people’s hearts, enticing men to rebel against God. It's because God DOES love the homosexual that He warns the individual about the consequences of such a lifestyle throughout the scriptures, many of which we will look at in further detail in future journals. To those who will turn away from their sin practice, God offers mercy, forgiveness and healing through Jesus Christ (1 Peter 2:24).

Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead
to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
Romans 5:1-8
Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord

Homosexual, God has COMMENDED or FREELY GIVEN His love
towards you today through the person of the Lord Jesus Christ, not when you
became perfect, but "while you were yet a sinner!" Christ came to save sinners,
of which this writer is chief. Outside the grace of God, there is no doubt in my
mind I too would be bound by a myriad of perversions, lust and bondages. But
thank God for His indescribable gift - the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ and
the power of the HOLY GHOST.

O, beloved, do you think I do not know, that I cannot see, that you seek the salve of the human heart, but is only to be found in ME. In no other upon Heaven and Earth shall you find the rest for your aching soul."
The Lord "weeps," for those reading this today bound by this horrible sin called homosexuality. He weeps for the judgment that has come upon many, which He says is His mercy. I'm sure some mock and scoff at that and say, "how is AIDS and judgment 'mercy?'
It's mercy because maybe those who find themselves today dying, without hope, may come to their road's end and through the pain of the recompense of this sin reach out to God before it is eternally too late and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour, and turn from their wickedness and be born again! If if were not for His mercy you would continue in your sin perhaps without ever taking the time to think about what is beyond the grave when you die; for millions that answer has not been a good one while others who have accepted Christ have realized just how wonderful the Lord's mercy is to us in dealing with our sinful hearts and giving us every possible chance to repent before we die. Neighbor, there is no salvation in the grave; there is no sanctification in the grave; David the Psalmist, declares, "what profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit??" "Shall dust Praise You!" "Shall it declare THY TRUTH!"
Psalm 30:9-11
What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust
praise thee? shall it declare thy truth? [10] Hear, O Lord, and have mercy upon
me: Lord, be thou my helper. [11] Thou hast turned for me my mourning into
dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;
Think about that last statement neighbor. There are no praises in the regions of the damned and there is NO TRUTH in outer darkness where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth; there is only remorse, regret and agony and pain.
As David cried, "Lord, have mercy upon me, and be thou my helper," I send this clarion call of the Father's love to you today of opportunity for you that are bound by homosexuality to do the same! There are not multiple answers to your sin sir or madam, there is only ONE answer and that is faith in the precious, atoning, shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ!
He is your only answer and if you will humble yourself, repent and confess your sin before Him, He is JUST and FAITHFUL to forgive you your sin and cleanse you from ALL unrighteousness! I can hear the Lord's plea, "take heed, my beloved," "find rest for your aching soul," "hear my voice," "hear my voice," hear my voice." Praise God.
1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins (and turn from them), he is faithful and just to forgive
us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
